“Magnificent” featuring John Legend is sick and “On Top Of The World” featuring Avery Storm has a nice groove to it. I can’t imagine what “Maybach Music 2″ featuring Lil Wayne, Kanye and T-Pain is going to sound like.

It also doesn’t help that Mr. Ross FINALLY admitted that those plaguing Correctional Officer rumors are now true. Sighs! I hope Richard is learning a valuable lesson from all of this and if he isn’t, well, at least he’s putting out quality music. However, I’m on the fence with this particular ditty. Low “Ehhhh, this has to grow on me” Key

Now of course, whenever I have an insane infatuation for a certain tune, I spread the gem as if I recorded the song myself. And in this case, “Fancy” is that track. If you’re up on the phenomenon that is Twitter (you can follow me HERE!), you’re probably familiar with my consistent chatter about the infectious ballad.

Lucky for me, The Dream just HAPPENED to be across the street filming for 106 & Park, which meant I had the opportunity to get the logistics behind “Fancy”. During the first interview, The Dream explained the concept behind the track, among other things (working with Kanye, how he views “Love Vs. Money” and his thoughts on Johnta Austin, Usher and B.Cox’s comments towards C. Milian), but I still wasn’t happy. I needed and wanted the CORE of why that song was created.

So, while I was interviewing Electrik Red, the big homey bum rushed their segment. After the E. Red interview, I probed him about the creation of the record and he began to go into specific detail.

I thought, “Wait, this will be great footage for SoundOff TV”. I asked him to hold up, step outside cause I needed this on camera. He happily agreed. Interested in what he had to say? OF COURSE YOU ARE! See below and ENJOY!

Low “God DAMN, The Dream did it again” Key

Regardless of how many times I get harassed or threatened, I can definitely tell you I always end up having a great time by night’s end. Though I did get a chance to attend last year’s Rip The Runway, I didn’t have the pleasure of ripping and running backstage. See, at this particular event last year, I had JUST received my offer letter to join the BET fold the same night, so I wasn’t officially on staff yet.

Oh, but trust and believe, my behind the scenes antics made up for last year’s lost efforts. From chopping it up with Bobby V; flirting with newcomer, Natasha; cracking jokes with Lil Duval; showcasing SBreezy’s Louis V bag with Maino; getting liquor threats from my superior RC and finally getting to the bottom of the infamous “Stanky Legg” epidemic, I must say 2009’s, Rip The Runway was an eventful one. Not convinced? No worries, the Rip The Runway Diaries will have no problem conveying that message for you. ENJOY!

The King of All Fashion Shows Is Here!

Since Fashion Week has come to an official close, it’s only right that we (BET) end it off with an impeccable amount of Black Star Power. I can’t reveal too much about the show because of the powers that be hovering over my fitted cap, but I can tell you T.I., The Dream, Fabolous, Mavado, Keri Hilson, Busta Rhymes, Ron Browz made this year’s show unforgettable.

I really hate doing blogs where I can’t reveal too much information about the show I actually attended, but have no fear, I got some incredible backstage footage/interviews with Bobby V, Young Steff, Pleasure P, Maino, Young Dro, L.A., Ron Browz, Natasha and Mavado, so make sure you check back later this week for the clips. I’m also most certain you remember the video we posted of one the tracks from the album as well (don’t ask me the title I already forgot). Regardless, I just HAPPENED to stumble across this nice lil exclusive tune (I’m on a roll today, huh?) called “Sweat It Out”.

Now since I’m almost positive a couple of young whipper snappers peal through the pages of SoundOff, I probably can’t go into specifics on why this song is one of my favorites, but rest assure, this will cause some trouble if you ever play it during one of your hanky panky sessions. I guess since they’re an official couple, if that means anything in this industry nowadays, they felt linking up musically would make the world a better place. Now, I don’t have a problem with Christina’s business acquisitions, but it’s funny how all of a sudden everything just happened to fall into place for the songbird.

Hmmmm, let’s see; King Magazine Cover: Check! New beau: Check! And now a new record deal with her new beau….PERFECT TIMING! According to Rap-Up.Com, Milian has now inked a deal with The Dream’s, Radio Killa Records imprint.

Says Milian, “Now my album’s not only on MySpace, but it’s actually a Radio Killa/Interscope/MySpace combination. I’m working currently with Dream and also with Tricky [Stewart], making fire, heat right now.”

Am I happy for the tender roni? Of course I am. Do I think The Dream has the power to resurrect her career? Not a chance in hell. Matter fact, let me reserve judgment until I hear their first collaboration. I mean, if Lil Wayne can make a “ROCK” single and it be accepted by the masses, anything’s attainable. I’m SURE Ms. Milian can conjure up something to conquer the attention of her long lost fan base.

Still, many people are remaining weary about what’s REALLY going on between the two love birds. If the victim is in fact Rihanna, then this is probably one of the most horrible cover ups known to man kind (no comment, lol). And since I just found out the victim IS Rihanna, her publicist should be fired!

Now, since we don’t know EXACTLY what happened between the two, I’ve taken the liberty to draw up TEN conclusions of my own. Too early? Probably, but had they handled this issue with common sense, I would’ve been a bit more sensitive to the subject at hand.

So, without further ado, I now present to you, Top Ten: 10 Things That Could’ve Happened Btw Rihanna and Chris Brown. Remember, this is allllllll in good fun. However, it is SAD that Chris laid hands on Ri Ri. Not cool dude, NOT COOL!

10. Right after Chris saw this video, he found a dread of Young H.O.’s (Jay-Z) nappy fro in the limo.

9. After the Clive Davis function, Chris asked Rihanna to “Run It”, but all she offered was a “Kiss Kiss”. She then yelled, “I’m done ‘With You’. Chris slowly moved closer to Rihanna giving her, “No Air” , which sent the songbird scrambling to send an “S.O.S”. “Shawty Got Loose”, but Chris wasn’t too far behind. She managed to get back in the car and told the driver to “Shut Up & Drive”. Before pulling off, Chris managed to sneak in a double mint two piece, yelling, “We’re going to be together ‘FOREVER’.
