Brand New Status…..So today, Trey Songz emancipated a new tune called “Brand New”. I can’t put my finger on A.) Why I’m so unsure of the track, B.) What direction he’s heading in, and C.) Will what he’s trying to accomplish make him a more relevant figure in the R&B realm (not that he’s not, but will it take him to the next level).

I guess since Trey’s gearing up for his third album, “Ready,” which is said to be released this summer via Atlantic Records, it’s only right we get this street single right about now.

Judging from Trey’s stats, his commercial success is gradually increasing with each album. Promising placement on the Billboard Charts for several singles from each project, a BET Awards nod for Best R&B Male Artist in 2008, and a Grammy nod for “Can’t Help But Wait” in 2009.

Will “Brand New” generate the street buzz he’s searching for or will it stall out and lead to an impeccable amount of album delays? Take a listen and SOUND OFF!!!!!

Ladies, Trey Songz and Fabolous want your number, NOW! It’s songs like these that bring back a series of vivid and and fun club experiences that resulted with the final commentary being the same as this song title. Unsure of whether or not this tune is from an upcoming project, I can tell you the original track hit the internets around July.

Not to say this is first single status, but this just might start the engine in the “Trey Songz is gearing up for a new album” vehicle. Fab also does an exceptional job of divulging into the play by play of what actually happens when the target is spotted (No, I’m not sexist because females do this as well).

Trey Songz, Keri Hilson and T.I. light up SoundOff with some new, EXCLUSIVE fire! It’s rare that I package more than one artist into my B.E.T. You Haven’t Heard This posts, so today I thought I’d be generous and lace you guys with a couple of gems. First up, Trey Songz lets loose on T.I.’s “Live Your Life”, “Swagga Like Us” and a new song, “First Love” which features Johnta Austin (the song is supposed to be a duet, but Johnta Austin is singing the reference to the track) and Kanye’s, “Love Lockdown”.

Keri returns with her “official” second single, “Return The Favor” featuring Timbaland and T.I. slides in with two bonus cuts from “Paper Trail”. I usually don’t do this, so don’t come around here looking for a cluster of music every time I do a, B.E.T. You Haven’t Heard This Post.

Eriksen) a Norwegian production duo whose responsible for countless amounts of R&B hits (more on that later) have linked up with Roc-A-Fella’s H.N.I.C., Jay-Z, to form a new recording imprint, StarRoc (get it, StarGate…Rocafella..).
