Newlyweds Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey have managed to stay in the headlines since their wedding (surprise, surprise). Now, the latest reports have Nick looking like he’s on a leash. This past week, Nick was said to be hanging out with Diddy and Quincy Jones (yeah, all of a sudden, he’s got a new crop of friends) when MC summoned him back home. According to bossip.com, Nick was dragged away from Foxwoods to sit by Mimi’s side at a photo shoot for Elle Magazine (one that lasted until 5:30 a.m.!!). According to a source, the two were “super affectionate.” Gag.

Well, well, well. Look who’s talking. People Magazine has exclusive photos of the happy couple, feet still wet from the beach of their now confirmed wedding.
“I never felt a love like this was in the cards for me,” Mariah tells People magazine, in an exclusive interview.” Gag. “We really do feel we are soulmates.”
And if Mariah’s quote didn’t make your stomach turn enough, check out what Nick says, “She is beautiful on the outside and ten times as beautiful on the inside.”
According to people.com, the interview which hits Newsstands this Friday, features photos of their new tattoos (don’t ask me, I don’t know yet and will surely tell you when I find out), Nick’s candy-themed proposal (again, I’m in as much awe as you at the cheeziness) and their plans for kids (…just don’t say anything…).
Okay, the People magazine interview, c’mon. What do you think?? Jay-Z and Beyonce are somewhere laughing.

Nobody wanted to believe that rumors of a romantic relationship between Mariah CaAccording to Latina.com, it was a small ceremony with close friends, including Da Brat who is a close friend of Mariah’s.rey and Nick Cannon were true, but Latina.com reported more than just a relationship between the two. According to the website, the two celebrities GOT MARRIED Wednesday in an intimate wedding that took place on an island somewhere, sources say it was the Bahamas. Now, Ok! magazine is reporting that Nick Cannon’s family has confirmed that a wedding did take place. Linda Cannon, a family member of Nick, told E! that Nick called in and confirmed the marriage. “We are happy for him. If that is what he wants, we are happy for him,” she said.
Details are still sketchy, but if this is true, Mariah and Nick will certainly be stealing the thunder away from Beyonce and Jay who took almost 7 years to tie the knot.
Notice the picture of Mariah above, where Mariah is sporting a rock, which some have reported is the same rock Nick gave to his last girlfriend, Selita Ebanks. Now, remember earlier this week, we told you in our Entertainment Spotlight blog, that these could be engaged, and even though inside sources had confirmed their relationship was indeed real, this one was hard to believe.
Check back for more on this developing, and quite frankly, shocking story. Hee hee.

UPDATE: People magazine has confirmed that the wedding did take place. While paparazzi stalked the couple and their family around 4 p.m. at Tribeca apartments in New York (one of Jay-Z’s apartments), the wedding is believed to actually happened at the Bloomberg building in midtown around 4 (there’s that number again). According to theinsideronline.com, workers built an inside tent, with an all-white theme and the Roman numeral IV, that was erected on the roof of the Tribeca apartments. Flowers were delivered (and photographed) to the location early that afternoon. TMZ.com had a live stream (yes, a live stream like the president was in town…i guess President Carter) from the front of 195 Hudson St, where media stood for hours waiting for something to happen. As the garage door to the building opened to let in a number of Black tinted out SUV’s, photographers snapped pictures of Destiny’s Child members Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams, Bey’s dad and lil’ sis Solange.

Inside sources have clued us in to the April 4th secret. Earlier this week, various new outlets (including us) reported that Jay-Z and Beyonce had applied for a marriage license. As many female hopefuls know, a wedding usually takes place within 60 days of filing (otherwise, that joint will expire and ladies will be back to square one). In any event, if the news of their filing is true, Jay-Z and Beyonce would have to be married this month.
Well, aside from hearing that April 4th will be the day, BET.com has rationalized and put 2 and 2 (ironically, equaling 4) together. Peep the knowledge:
Both Beyonce and Jay-Z have birthdays that fall on the 4th day of their respective birth months (September and December).
Word is that the two celebs have the number 4 tattooed on their hands (or somewhere like that).
April is the fourth month of the year. Thus, a perfect date for a Jayonce wedding would be 4/4.
What do you think? Hopefully, by the time you read this, it won’t already be front page news.
