The Game on Jay-Z: “I’m too disrepectful for Jay-Z”

The Game has some choice words for Jay-Z. OH BOY!I guess some of today’s hip hop artist rely solely on stirring up controversy for their upcoming projects, well at least Game does (and 50, lol). So I was rifling through the internets earlier this morning, because well, that’s what I get paid to due, and I encountered this Game interview with Chino from Cali’s 104.7 FM. Now if you’re an avid follower of Game’s radio interviews, one might be bracing himself for what might potentially, be some unorthodox ish.
I press play, and the foolery begins. Chino starts off normal, you know, inquiring about The Game’s new project, L.A.X. and other interesting Game info. But then, unexpectedly to be exact, Chino brings up some old chitter chatter he heard through the grapevine. Chino says to the Game, “So I heard when Jay-Z was out a Wimbledon someone asked him, ’so when are you gonna get at The Game?” Game says nothing, so Chino says, “Jay responded, ‘We’ll let him commit suicide”. Now, I’m not sure how true that blurb from Jay-Z is, but let’s just say it is, for Game’s sake.
Game seems a bit taken back for a second, and even goes on to say how much of a legend Hova is, but right after the praising finishes, the tough talk commences. Game responds, “I’m too disrespectful for Jay-Z, I go to hard. His beef is mediocre beef, it’s more swag and less hardcore. Me, I go in on your grandma, your kids and your girl….it will get ugly and I don’t mind. I have a whole coast to back me. My coast will turn their backs on whoever I turn my back on. So basically, let me commit suicide because I’m the only cat to commit suicide and resurrect every time. So for Jay to say that about me, that’s cool man because he’s Jay-Z and I’m jus lil ol game. But if you fuck with me I’ll turn to a beast, and ill rip ya head off..bust ya lips….turn the rocafella sign into (whatever he said). Let’s tie the shoes on something and let it walk. You have something to promote, use me as your tool and get broke down limb by limb.”
Why Game??? WHY???? Why are you baiting this man? I completely understand your position, trust me I do! You have an album coming out, 50’s not paying you a dime of attention, I GET IT, TRUST ME! But why bring Hov into your mess? Wouldn’t you like to end your rap tenure on a good note? How bad would it be if Hov came out firing tonight and straight up dismantled everything you stood for? Not to ride the Hov train no longer than I am now (lol, I’ll admit it), but you can’t get anymore disrespectful than this…..

To be honest, it doesn’t get any worse than that, Game. Anyway, hopefully, LA’s finest will come back to his rap senses and leave it alone, if not, I’m sure he’ll regret it if Hov chooses to fire back.

Game, I like your style a lot but I think Jay’s a hell of an acheiver so instead of running your mouth off at rumors you hear try using jay’s accomplisment and status in the rap world as a tool to be the kind of man that you aspire to be. Good luck on all you do game.

Miller today confirmed the launch of Better Black Television, a family-oriented cable network set to debut in 2009. Dubbed BBTV, the network promises to cover the diverse experience of African-American culture by offering a myriad of genres: politics, movies, teen and children’s educational programming, animation, sports, and news. In response to the criticism leveled at BET’s music video choices, the network has guaranteed to deliver “responsible Hip-Hop music and videos.” P. Miller will oversee the channel as its chairman and CEO. The advisory board team includes Oscar winner Denzel Washington, NAACP executive director Vicangelo Bullock, Hip-Hop founder Kool Herc, cable industry veteran Professor Sal Martino, and real estate mogul Curtis Oakes. While seen as a risky business endeavor, Miller states he’s planned this venture for several years and feels he has gathered a strong team to uphold his vision. “I believe that there is a market in our community for a new diverse network,” he explains. “(A network) that provides superior programming that caters to all aspects of television, from reality to original programming. We believe TV content can be positive and responsible and still have good ratings with great content.” Aware that his network will be seen as a direct challenge to Viacom and its BET and MTV brands, Miller remained diplomatic on his competition. “I have a great relationship with BET and MTV and will continue to work with them and support their networks,” he states. Miller also had kind words for controversial BET founder Bob Johnson, who he credits as a mentor to his cable network plans. “I remember him telling me back in the day that if you wanted to know real estate, you’ve got to hang out with real estate investors,” Miller explicates. “If you wanted to know sports, you’ve got to hang out with athletes. I wanted to know TV, so I hung out with Bob and learned the TV game from one of the best in the business.” BBTV’s news programs have begun airing in Florida, Louisiana, California, and New York. At press time, the network is purchasing local cable channel affiliates in preparation for its 2009 debut.
“kain227″ – No one even used the term “God” while referring to Jay in any of these blog posts, but GAME will never come close to what the man has accomplished on any level.
The only reason why people still hear of his name is because he’s always starting some mess. He has an occasional appearance on some elses track that’s HOT, but overall he’s like a lil’ “Drama Queen”, always starting something. Him & 50 have that really bad. And of course there’s more to the rap game than the east coast (I’m not from the east nor the west so I can care less about a coast), but Jay is one of the most influential names “in the WORLD CRAIG, not just the CITY (or COAST in this matter)…they NEED ‘INFLUENTIAL’ names in the WORLD CRAIG (exerpt from FRIDAY AFTER NEXT)”, but can anyone say that about GAME’s INFLUENCE…of course not! Plus he’s a grown A$$ man, & he talking bout “I go in on your grandma, your kids and your girl…”, & he’s a father himself. Cats like that get handled in any given ‘hood’. You don’t walk around talking ‘greasy’ like that & not think that someone won’t ‘touch’ you one day. Dude, your best bet is to stay in the studio, make some heart felt music, & SHUT THE F*CK UP!!! And that goes for any/everyone!
Da game is weak as hell. All of his songs are just shout outs I cant wait tll he retires he is one of the weakest MC to ever touch a ??@. As for J I love him his first few albums I didnt really respect how lyrically tigh they were but after da blue album I new j was lyrically superior to most mc’s & dats real talk for our A$$.
I think Game will be known for being the best “name dropper in songs”, & “ass kisser/ kiss and make up rapper” of all time. He’s definantly got that goin for him. Erwin u said it right “Drama Queen”

Lamar I totally agree with you. Game does act like he is bi-polar or something. He just needs attention, because 50 could care less about him. LAX will be just like his last album, A FLOP….!!!! He doesn’t understand that Jay-Z and 50 are on a whole nother level than he his. Both of them were on FORBES top 20 richest entertainers list. GAME NEEDS TO GET IN WHERE HE FITS IN..!!!

Although Game is bipolar, he can battle like no other. JayZ is more of a business man than one of the best mc’s. Lyrically JayZ can’t touch Game, and no one else for that matter. The only reason people praise JayZ because he’s been doing this for a long time. Jay make hits, but his lyrics don’t have much content. Jay only raps about materialistic things, which you can read magazines and watch TV to keep up with the rich and famous.
I think Beyonce makes JayZ interesting. Sorry Jay, not hating, but I’m just saying!
“CHYNADOLL” – The part that sucks, is that he can do it!!! He has Dre on his side & thats enough credibility to take his career to major heights, but he can’t get past his false sense of “gangster” & stay on top of his game. I just hope that he & a bunch of other cats understand that longevity is the key to success…at least one of the keys!
All i got to say is stop the violence cause both of ya’ll are talented and smart so lets keep it that way. ( Ya’ll to old for this Bull SH*T! ) Its all love!

“Monica” – I guess that, like myself, a lot of people have enjoyed Jay’s flow & clever metaphors since earlier in his career. He talks plenty of flashiness, but he’s also talked much about real topics that are tailor made for his life/experience(s). Whether it be females, partying, Marcy Projects, addiction to fame/flash, or street life. And the lyrical confidence that he displays has always had everyone walking with a lil’ more of a swag, & thinking a lil’ harder about their own aspirations so that they can do large things in life like Rocafella in their ‘hey-day’…or as Jay still does today.
Um, I just want to dispute whether Low Key really wrote this. The writing is usually soooo much better than this; this was completely laden with more spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors than I care to waste my red pen on. Not to mention, I think the subject is a bit of a waste anyway.
