T.I. Hits High Mark With “Whatever You Like”

T.I. makes an ENORMOUS Billboard jump!
T.I.’s lead off single, “Whatever You Like” from his forthcoming LP, Paper Trail, reached two incredible milestones just after three weeks on the charts. The cut made the biggest jump from slot #71 to #1 on the Billboard 100 charts earlier this week and also garnered the best digital opening week for a rap track by selling 205,000 downloads.
Regardless of his chart topping success, T.I.’s 6th solo studio Lp is falling victim to a series of leaks, in which the rapper is fuming over. One of the tracks, “S.L.U. (Swagger Like Us)”, which was actually posted around these parts earlier this week (Sorry TIP, that track is tooooo incredible for me to NOT post), possessed an all-star that consisted of Jay-Z, Lil Wayne and Kanye West. So far, out of the 19 songs listed on the project, 9 have already hit the public, but only 4 of them have been authorized by T.I. and the label.
I spoke with T.I. briefly before “S.L.U.” hit the internets about the 4 records that were already gaining exceptional radio spins, “They all have a different vibe, so it depends on what frame of mind or what mood I’m in. If I’m looking to party, If I’m looking to sit and think about some thought provoking music or If I’m just trying to cut my music up loud and kick it on some hood ish or If I want to play a song that appeals to a special young lady, it all depends on what mood I’m in” T.I. said of the cuts.
Paper Trail will feature guest appearances from Usher (leaked), Swizz Beatz, B.O.B, Kanye West (leaked), The Dream (leaked), Rihanna (leaked) and Justin Timberlake. The set hits stores September 30 via Grand Hustle/Atlantic Records.

I love the songs that are out by him. I think it is a shame that people are not respecting the artist and leaking there music. Personally I think that its a hater some where that is getting a hold of his music and leaking it on purpose. Either way Tip I am still going to buy the album.
