Here’s my future apology to Columbia Records for this list. Sorry (lol).
Some times it’s debatable on whether not certain labels understand the significance of online press. I have yet to grasp the notion that half of today’s music industry is STILL stuck in the Stone Age, but after experiencing my little “Beyonce interview” mishap yesterday, I think it’s become quite clear.
Though I won’t dive into logistic concerning yesterday’s fiasco, I will, however, point out that communication is incredibly vital when dealing with more than two parties. No I’m not bitter (trust me, I’m not), but when I’m sent to do a job, I usually like to accomplish that task; coming back empty handed is for the birds.
Word to the wise: offering a writer an email interview is the worst attempt in reconciling a situation. When kicking me to the curb, make sure you do it 100 percent, backtracking and offering a consolation prize isn’t good for your complexion (I kid, halfway lol). After careful pondering I felt a Top 10 would be the only way to deliver my TRUE defeat, lol.
So, without further ado, I present the Top 10 Reasons Why Columbia Records Wouldn’t Let LowKey Interview Beyonce.

10. I didn’t have a fancy looking camera.
9. Though its a great performance asset, LowKey believes Beyonce’s metal glove will never be as great as Michael’s glittery white one.
8. Kanye was right; Rihanna was the best thing to happen to Beyonce. Sort of like what happen with Nasir Jones; Jay-Z was the best thing to ever happen to Nas. Am I lying??
7. LowKey did THIS two weeks ago……
6. After being told NOT to write about Beyonce’s listening session, LowKey found THIS on the other side of town and questioned them about it.
5. I did a Top 10 about Bow Wow the other day…..
4. I don’t have an American Express credit card, nor do I have “people” to call her “people.”
3. They found out LowKey thought House of Dereon(her clothing line) was a croissant shop in Soho when it first started.
2. I might have uttered, “Mann, Beyonce can’t cook” a bit too loud.
1. If she ever sits on my couch, I’m not yelling “BEYOOONNNNNCEEEE” like SOME people I know.
To all the people who just had a heart attack about this list, remember, its ALL IN GOOD FUN, RELAX!

What i really want to know is why did she replace the dark skinned sister
that dances on the put a ring on it video. I just watched 106 & park and the dark skinned girl ( who i think is hot as hell ) was replaced by a pale azz white girl.
I thought the Top Ten list was gonna be funny. But as I went from 10 to 1, I realized I was only wasting my time. So I decided to go ahead and write this comment and waste an entire 4 min. The jokes on me but you wont fool me again.
