Aye Clifford, let’s talk for a minute……So to my understanding, Mr. Harris is about to embark on his 10-12 month Arkansas vacation (if he hasn’t yet) for OBVIOUS reasons. Of course it sucks TIP won’t be spending any time with us at the 2009 BET Awards and or at HOT 97’s 2009 Summer Jam and at the 2009 VMAs and or the 2009 BET Hip Hop Awards and at the 2010 Grammy Awards…but as we all know, the show must go on.

Over the past 18 months, our buddy Clifford has put in some serious work for his community as well as our beloved hip-hop culture.

He released “Paper Trail,” his 6th and most reflective solo project to date, used his star power as leverage to garner the attention of a slew of troubled youth in various cities and planted assorted seeds to keep his Grand Hustle family afloat in the midst of his absence.

By far,  T.I. understands his actions weren’t the smartest. And given the obvious actions for redemption, T.I.’s molding his comeback story before the “vacation” commences. Isolation from the outside world can be a tough ordeal to process, but T.I.P’s mentality isn’t of the ordinary.

However, just in case he becomes a bit rattled and starts talking to the walls instead of his cell mates, here are 10 things I thought he should remember while incarcerated. I’m warning you now- some will be humorous, others will be reflective…either way, all 10 will and can assist T.I. over the next year.

10. No one is at ALL disappointed in you, Clifford.

9. Inform Young Dro to wear and promote Akoo- not Polo.

8. Tiny has toooooo many mini T.I.’s in that house for her to stray away from the nest- she’s yours FOREVER!

7. Before befriending ANYONE in the slammer, they need to provide physical evidence of at least two albums from your catalogue (not iTunes purchases either).

6. If you see anyone with a D4L tattoo, walk the other way. Chances are, if one of their weed carriers are locked up, they have no idea that you and Shawty Lo are BFF.

5. Thanks to your gun brandishing ways, we will never see a video with you, Kanye, Wayne or Jay. I curse you EVERY night for that.

4. If you work out just enough you won’t have to purchase half of the U.S. government’s artillery- I’M JUST SAYING.

3. No one in those cell blocks has swagger like you. They might have a dagger, but their swagger is probably on level zero. Now that I think about it, I strongly suggest you find a dagger and lose the swagger.

2. Your kids love you.(Tie)

2. I will NOT leak any of your music until you come home…PROMISE! (Tie)

1. WE LOVE YOU- RETURN HOME SAFE AND SOUND!
