Arab Money causes trouble for UK DJ????
Now I know a couple of people have been ridiculing the tune for its harsh gestures towards the Islamic culture, but what happened over in the UK just might make its way over to the states. Word to the Mirror in UK, a DJ has been suspended for spinning Busta’s hit tune, “Arab Money”. Galaxy FM, a radio station which broadcasts in Birmingham and Yorkshire, suspended resident DJ, Steve “Smooth” Sutherland, after receiving a number of complaints after the song was aired.
A spokesman from the station said, “Both the DJ and producer have been suspended pending a full inquiry.” Aint that some ISH???? Look what you did, BUSTA!!!! SMH
Watch out U.S. DJ’s, you know this could trickle down to you guys SOON ENOUGH!

ok………….arabs are taking this song offensive is because busta rymes is saying a part from the quran and mocking it, dont get me wrong i love busta rymes but he took this song way out of line
its offensive because its targetting MUSLIMS rather than Arabs… talk about Arabs… no problem… but why use the Quran??? and im talking about the remix… i will never play that remix… its an insult….
What Abdul Haqq said is true, except that I oppose Busta Rhymes for more than just using my holy book’s verses in his remix..I oppose him in general for his oversexualized and disrespectful verses about women. And if he imagines himself to be a Muslim (Muslim…or 5-percenter?) then he should act like he knows. I wonder sometimes what happened to Black people, most of them claim to be a Christian and yet they have no problem with listening to rappers who spend all their time worshipping money. Money is only paper, it comes and goes….and it’s not a sign of character.
By the way, those of you talking about how “Arabs do have a lot of money” are guilty of stereotypes yourselves. Visit Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Oman…..these are countries full of poor Arabs. Not all Arabs live in the oil-producing Gulf countries (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Dubai….). In Cairo people live in slums worse than any African-American ghetto in America. Show some interest in a history other than your own.
