VIDEO: Jay-Z Performs At World Series Parade For N.Y. Yankees

Did you really think Jay-Z was going to miss performing at the Yankees World Series parade? For someone to perform with U2 in Berlin then cross time zones and perform for Major League Baseball’s 2009 World Series champs (N.Y. Yankees incase you were wondering), well that’s a pretty INCREDIBLE accomplishment.
Dubbed as a surprise performance, NYC’s recently re-elected mayor, Mayor Bloomberg, introduced Young Hova to the thousand dedicated Yankee fans on hand to celebrate their teams 27 World Series victory.
Of course, it was only fitting that Jay and Bridgette Kelly (follow her on Twitter @TheyCallMeBK) take “Empire State of Mind” out the holster and crown it as the official N.Y Yankee victory anthem.

That was a good performance. But with all the ball playing and performances, has anyone notice that the unemployment rate is now at 10%, the highest since 1983. Let’s get back to reality people. America’s economy is in bad shape. Let’s stop with all the baseball games and rap performances and get back to basics in America. When this is accomplished, then we can again start talking about how good New York is. At the moment, Newyork is having some serious financial issues!!!!
