VIDEO: Rihanna’s Interview On 20/20

It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for. Rihanna FINALLY opens up! Last night, Rihanna’s 20/20 interview with Diane Sawyer finally aired after a week full of previews. The interview housed Rihanna’s account of what happened during the night in question.
Some have pegged this oppourtunity to address the situation as an attempt to promote her forthcoming LP, “Rated R”. And while it’s extremely coincidental that the interview falls 2 weeks before the release of the project, it’s still good to see that she’s strong enough to discuss a situation that will forever alter her life and relationships with men.
I’m going to reserve any type of commentary in regards to this interview due to the fact I could never understand what she went through on February 8th. Hopefully since she’s finally put all her cards on the table, we won’t have to keep asking, “What really happened in the car that night?”.

I would have respect for her IF she would have told the HONEST truth! She said that she NEVER hit him…that’s a bold face LIE…there’s not a HUMAN alive that WOULDN’T fight back when being attacked!! & she said “even IF I hit him first…” That’s what women have been saying every since this story broke! If there IS NO reason for a man to hit a woman THEN there IS NO reason for a woman to hit a man…don’t start a fight with a man & then cry “I’m a girl” when he beats the crap out of you!!! Because you ARE NOT a VICTIM of DOMESTIC VIOLENCE…YOU ARE a woman who started a fight & LOST!!! & personally, having a mother who was a victim of domestic abuse, I see this as an insult to women who ARE ABUSED on a daily basis, either verbally or physically & by her own admission…SHE WASN’T!! She is ONLY trying to save her career & endorsements by playing the victim & THIS DID NOT JUST HAPPEN TO HER…SHE HAD A VERY ACTIVE ROLL IN THIS EPISODE & I DON’T FEEL SORRY FOR HER, HAVE LOST ALL RESPECT FOR HER & HAVE FORBIDDEN MY DAUGHTER FROM LISTENING TO OR BUYING ANY OF HER MUSIC!! Because I feel that she is doing an INJUSTICE to women EVERYWHERE!! IF she REALLY want to be a role model to young girls…tell the truth, tell them to not hit on a guy because this might happen, because not every guy is just going to walk away!! My grandfather told me, when I was little, if you don’t want to be hit…don’t hit, period!!!!
To the chick up above you sound so stupid, I really hope you are not a mother cause lord help your child. For you to say she hit him first….. you was not there . You have no idea what happen so for you sit here and say the things you are saying is ridiculous. I am personally not a fan of neither one and I don’t know what happen…… but I do know I saw her pictures after this beating and I saw him after the beating and I think she was a lot worse than he was. It is a shame that all these little girls is jumping on his side just because they want to F*ck him…… if your disgusted you need to be disgusted at that. You are a sad individual and I hope when your daughter get her A** whoop you have the same mentality with her. Rihanna ’s story doesn’t mesh well. She sat on that show and played a role.”Bravo” “The Best Victim Award” goes to Rihanna.I’m not a fan of either Chris or Rihanna . She said she confronted Chris about his ex leaving a text on his phone.So I guess in the car she was so calm . And because Rihanna ask him politely about the text he just went crazy (Right)…
What woman in there right mind would look at a phone with another woman texting her man and calmly ask ,”What is she doing texting you”? And then in the interview she said “Even if I did hit Chris he doesn’t have the right to hit a woman”. If Rihanna wants to believe that let her come out in the street and hit a male or female. I don’t think a man should hit a woman,but if she did anything physical to Chris while he was driving I can see how this happened. Now I know there are women and men out there who get abused for no reason and that’s terrible and wrong .
Rihanna’s interview was “poor”.She’s has been quiet all these months what happen? What she couldn’t remain quiet? What suddenly made “The Dead Rise” to the occassion to finally open her mouth? After all the crocodile tears and batting eyes she said she wishes him the best. Well question…how can Chris learn and grow with Rihanna making her ” Victim Presentations” in the media? What else does she lined up making statements like “His eyes were cold and dead”. Yeah she’s really showing just how much she wants him to learn. That interview let’s me know one thing she’s “fake” .And she left Chris in order to say her career and her money. And I’m “tired” of hearing Chris say I’m sorry on T.V. she’s moved on and so should he.
