Video: Young Jeezy & Jay-Z- My President (Remix)

January 19th, 2009

Their President Is Black……….Young Jeezy held his own inauguration gala last night at popular D.C. nightspot, Love. Jeezy’s “Presidential Status” Inauguration Ball not only sported appearances from the freshest and the fliest from the D.C. area, but Akon, Kevin Liles, Bow Wow, Tracy Edmonds, Wale, T.I. and Jay-Z where all in attendance to kick off Barack Obama’s Inauguration Week.

Hopefully many of the attendees in Washington, D.C. took heed to my SPECTACULAR list I posted on Saturday, especially during their time in Club Love last night. Enough small talk, Jay and Jeezy took to the stage and did what they do best. CHECK IT OUT, BELOW

Sincerely

Low “My President is black, but his house is all white” Key

I am so elated that our new president is black. Even though the Jay-Z, Jeezy remix isn’t our official anthem, it will be my personal one. Jay-Z is the greatest rapper alive and Jeezy isn’t so bad either. One love my fellow Americans, I believe that this time change really will happen.

Why do they have to use the GOD’s name in vain? Just because our President is Black doesn’t mean you have to act it. It’s time for a change. GROW UP! I thank GOD for Obama because he will be a role model for young black males to step up to the plate. We as a people have come so far. Use Obama because he is the best of both world’s, smart, intelligent with goals in life. NOW THAT’S SWAGGA. As for JAY-Z’s remix take out the “language” because I am pretty sure Obama wouldn’t listen to that with guest over. If you wouldn’t listen to it with your parents, it’s disrespectful.

its crazy that all of you lame ducks impower ignorance. the president is bi-racial not black. what makes you black.? he is just as white as he is black. ignorance is bliss and until simple minds educate themselves we as black people will always be behind. none of these rappers even had a high school diploma but thats who you look up to and praise. wow.!

Sad….. Just plain sad. Took a big step back on Jay’s part. Best rapper = better content, anything lower is just for the money. My president is black, all is good, right. How about praising for accomplishments. Obama didn’t win cause he’s black. 10 times harder to live in America, but half the time it’s our own bringing us down. It’s starts with ourselves, raise up and bring someone with you.

Young Jeezy’s and Hova’s performance at the inauguration was unacceptable! This was not the time or place.

Although, the sentiment may be heartfelt it does nothing to honor the position that Obama and his family were put in on that day.

Come on my people. It takes a lot of talent to do what you do, as rappers.
It takes skill and much creativity! But for that one day……..that kind of language and gesturing should have been contained. You guys arent too young to understand that. Let history be the judge.

This debases the accomplishment of the 44th President of the United States. He is not just our president – all ethnicities across the board voted him in, including us Blacks/African Americans. Don’t forget your brothers and sisters of other races. This ghetto-izes the importance of an moment in time. Adult men acting like boys, is not a good look at all. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was an intellectual leader at 26 years old, so they have no excuse. Emancipate your minds… your vocabulary does not have to reach to the gutter to express yourself (grow up). We have come too far and those before us made too many sacrifices for this foolishness.

This just shows how FAKE our country is and how UNIFIED we really are NOT by this whole election!! And who the TRUE RACISTS are…WHAT A DISGRACE to our country these rappers are and Obama should be ashamed to be any part of this type of behavior. And what this whole country has forgotten is that Obama his HALF WHITE!!!!! But it’s so phony how he is only being identified as a black human being…When you sit here and disgrace white people in front of a crowd you are talking about about his mother??!! Bash Bush all you want, but he’ll have the last laugh at the end of this four year term, when NOTHING has changed!!! and the country is STILL BROKE!
