G-Unit, The Game. Was This Really Considered A Showdown???
April 24th, 2008
I guess since 50 & Kanye had their record slinging showdown, everyone is thirsty for another one. But since Interscope isn’t trying to decrease sales on either side, they did what they had to do. Originally, G-Unit’s sophomore group effort, Terminate On Sight and The Game’s third and final project, L.A.X were scheduled to drop on the same day, but according to Interscope those dates have been axed. The G-Men will now lead things off with a July 1 release date, while Game will follow up a week later on July 8.
For what it’s worth, both projects are probably going to bring in a decent amount of sales. With Game announcing his suicidal thoughts in the latest issue of XXL and 50 making a mockery of Young Buck (who is actually STILL featured on T.O.S.), a showdown would be pointless since they’ve created enough controversy without each other.
And one more thing, how in the hell can you call this a showdown when it’s 4 on 1???? 4 Creative minds against 1, that’s just unfair.
L.A.X. or Terminate On Sight….which one are you coppping and WHY???
