I’m looking forward to the new album and the reality show, but most of all I’m looking forward to the musical film “The Color Purple.” I saw the show on Broadway with Fantasia as Celie, and she blew me (and the New York critics, as well as some legendary Broadway stars such as Barbara Cook) away. If you haven’t had a chance to see the show, you have a huge treat in store for you when the movie comes out. I just wish we didn’t have to wait so long for it.

P.S. Regarding the list of performers in the “Celebration of Gospel,” I think it’s awesome that Fantasia’s mother is going to sing with her daughter. I can’t wait to see that. However, unless she’s changed her name, Fantasia’s mom’s name is Diane, not Diana.

I really don’t care who is on the show just as long as God arises. But I will say this and please no one take this negatively. We hear all the music on the radio all of the time esp. on the secular stations that will have people grooving and moving but rarely do they play the songs that will bring the wordly people to their knees. A lot of people who are not in the church watch BET and will watch C.O.G. and won’t step foot in the church. I feel as though with a great anointing and power should be on the show. We get so caught up in the big names and familiar faces and don’t want to call fourth the ones that really means ministry.

OK, Ledisi & Kelly made everubody need a sheet & smelling salt!!! Good 2 have secular on the inside of gospel – how else did many of us get saved? We all 4get we all had 2 go thru somethin…God uses whom HE pleases so haterz – sit down somewhere and be grateful 2 enjoy another show w/o being so critical of who should or should not be on. It would be a 24 hr show if all our faves were on there.

OMG, it gets better and better. I enjoyed the entire celebration. I shouted,
cried, sang and praised the LORD. I know he was up in here. He has been so good to us. We need to continue celebrating him. I can’t wait for 2011…if the Lord says the same. God keep using Mr. Harvey, he’s really a changed man. Lord, Rance, just shook me up. Jesus is the sweetest name I know! And If the Lord never does anythingelse for me, he really has done enough. I can’t wait to go to work tomorrow. I shall watch it again.
