Hey folks, this will be quick! A lot of times I read through the comments and try to respond as much as I can, but sometimes it can get to be too much but what I notice most is that you wonder when past Sunday Best contestants CD’s are coming out. Well, you all know by now that Y’anna Crawley’s CD is dropping July 13. But I also get asked alot, “when is Jessica Reedy coming out, where is she,” etc. Well, I still don’t have a date for you, but I do know she’s been recording, just had no way of proving it to you. Well I finally have a little something to show and tell.
As you can see below, Jessica’s been in the studio working with mega-producer Shep Crawford and R&B/Gospel BEAST Kelly Price. I know they are working her OUT in that studio, but it’ll all be worth it when we finally get to hear some Jessica Reedy material. She’s done 3 songs with them so far including “God Has Smiled On Me,” a song she first sung during Sunday Best Season 2. It has become one of her most requested songs in her live show. I also just found out that today she went into the studio with production duo Dre & Vidal. Dre & Vidal have produced some big names in the game: Jill Scott, Musiq Soulchild, Chris Brown, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey and Usher. That’s just a few of them. Before you ask, yes, she’s doing a gospel album. (I know some of y’all!) They’ve also produced for Deitrick Haddon and Kirk Franklin. They promise me we’ll be the first to hear what comes out of these sessions, so keep checking back and I’ll keep you posted.

hello i just wanted to say that jessica should only sing gospel and not convert to R&B because no one is holding up the standard for jesus christ we need more gospel music…… may god bless you

Yes! This is great news I can’t wait. I wonder is she going to have that remake of The Williams Brothers “I’m still here” I hope I love how that was put together on the show. I can’t wait for the cd. Hurry up!

I think a good “Marketing Strategy” would be to wear a two piece swim suit with a “summer resort” background would provide a motivational incentive for individuals like my self to remember to support artists like to the above. Remember, its all about “rhetorical marketing strategies” general speaking which will allow for high revenue productivity.

I saw Ms. Reedy on Bobby Jones Gospel this morning, and she rocked the house. I feel that Bro. Jones gave the right title for the type of sound Ms. Reedy has when she sings. He called it NeoGospel. She may not have won Sunday Best. But, as long as, she gives her best every time she ministers through song. The Lord Jesus will say, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord”.

It doesn’t matter who the producer is, Jessica has a beautiful soul jazzy sounding voice and she is going to knock us out of the ball park with her cd. I am really looking forward to hearing it. I know Y’anna is going to have a nice cd, but I perferred Jessica over her. People just so judgemental that the jazzy sound that Jessica has didn’t go over well with alot of people. I say to Jessica do your thang, girl. Your are BAD.

Looking forward to hearing Jessica Reedy’s CD. I love her voice and her jazzy style. It would be a wonderful addition to gospel music. Like one other fan, I hope her version of the Williams’ Brothers, “I’m still here”, is included as well. She did great, and the background singers from Season Two were the bomb. They did an excellent job. They made the song. Maybe she could record it with them.
