@DEVONIA & @CAROLYN….It’s a hater epidemic going on since our girl Leandria has gotten that crown!!! I was on a TOTALLY different gospel blog, and do yall know some of these SAME BET haters was on there with the same screen names and everything!!! They not posing or nothing, just straight out the closet hating!!!! For no other reason other than JEALOUSY!!! I had to stand in that gap hard for our girl & pull double duty!!!But no matter how much they hate, it’s always a few faithful TEAM LEANDRIA members on standby waiting to shut that nonsense down!!!! TEAM LEANDRIA ALL THE WAY!!!! Still holding it down!!! God Bless!!!

@DEVONIA, I really have to give you your props as a prior comment has said. When you have had attackers, you responded gracefully. Your comments had me cracking up, because again you handled your critics gracefully. If there was an award for blogging and handling critics, I would have to give that to you. Some people didn’t understand what you were saying, but I understood where you was comming from. Torrence I really have enjoyed both of these interviews. I would like to see LeAndria and the Elder record a song together. I have really enjoyed this season…BE BLESSED.

@Devonia Ditto, I agree, you have held your own. I am just bout ready to lose hope,that the Elders fans will be more civil.Both Leandria and the
Elder will be recording artist.
Leandria is the winner of the title Sunday Best and should be respected as such. She has been humble, honest and respectfful to the Elder.However, I believe the Elder is a winner too,theres no need to limit God and his ability to use and bless two people simultaneously,but differently. They are no longer in competition.I pray that the “bashing” ends and healing begins for those who are hurting.

@CAROLYN….@Kimbie….@Missy… I appreciate your kind words..you too are a part of TEAM LE’ANDRIA, i had my eyes to this blog and know that yall all ride for the CAUSE…LOL I couldn’t do it alone..Truth be told The BATTLE isn’t ours..BUT I have so much fun with these haters..they start attacking the minute they figured that they can’t deny her talent and her annoiting. Wonder how many skeletons are in there closets?! If the worst Leandria did was have 3 kids and is a single parent and said she lost her house when she was really renting she is on her way to being a SAINT(cause i’ve lived in apartments in the past and said “i”m going HOME” or “Come over my HOUSE”…most folks know it’s an APARTMENT or that I was renting…I never had to defend it! Clowns!!…But again..I appreciate the kind words..and just know TEAM LEANDRIA IS ALIVE AND WELL. “My motto: If you don’t stand for something…You’ll fall for anything”!! I want to congratulate Le’Andria. I voted for Pop Goldwire he has truly inspired me. We have to know that this is not about us it’s about JESUS! This season was so powerful and I felt the power of the Holy Ghost coming out of the TV and a lot of us are taking this out of context. This hater thing is not of God this is letting the enemy in God is not a God of confusion read the Word please stay prayed up Le’Andria and Pop Goldwire talked about the goodness of God not being better than the next they would be ashamed of these comments beleve me. But I laugh because it’s so rediculous you can’t help but laugh! We will never be able to change everyone’s minds..so I pick my battles. @ Jennifer Broughton You by far are the most diginified “Pops” follower we seen in these parts..So God Bless..All we ever tried to do was UPLIFT BOTH CONTESTANTS! But our pick was for Le’Andria (we have that right) then the HATERS (no offense) came out…AND WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO DEFEND!!! Thank you Torrence I have been searching for something else. Do you have information or anyone have info on where she ministers on Sundays. We need the address of her Father’s church. I live 22 hours in a car from there but one day I’m going to hear her minister. I can’t wait for her album and her itinerary she needs to go worldwide. I agree with the above comment, that this is definitely not of God. I can clearly tell that most of these people are our young people and that they are playing with God for a worldly cause. In one breath trying to stop others from commenting and getting their points across, using slang language that’s very offensive and hurtful, and in the next breath they are going to pray for them. Why not just pray for them. We are suppose to be in this world, not of this world. People talked about Jesus Christ. When you are in the spotlight people ask questions and gossip. Of course people are going to be asking questions, vetting, probing because they want to know about you. The more you are in the spotlight, the more questions they want to ask. It really doesn’t matter what you tell your family and your friends, etc., when you are not in the spotlight. What matters is when you are in the spotlight you tell the truth. The truth is what matters. There should be absolutely no reason to jump in defense mode, just because someone said something you disagree with or dislike. How about just ignoring and not responding to the the comments, especially if it’s not directed at you. God can and will protect us from the enemy. Some words of wisdom. You’ve got a lot to learn young folks.

Hey, I heard LeAndria Johnson was going to perform at this year’s GMWA Convention. Has anyone else heard this? Just trying to confirm if it is true or not. Thanks.

It’s funny how so much judgment has taken place while speaking of God’s servants. Christians believe that everything is already written and must be carried out. Leandria won because she was supposed to. Elder was awesome, but in his old age could not keep up. This was a competition and that is what the judgmental haters must remember. There were numerous times that Elder couldn’t remember his words. Leandria won. It is done. Pray that God delivers you from hateration.

oooooooh-wee!!!!!!!!!!!, I was sitting in bed on june 20th (not at church and should have been), wanting to be feed some spiritual anything(words or music). i begin to channel surf the gospel channels when i turned to BET (which was not my channel of choice) and there i heard Ms. Leandria Johnson, she brought the meal that i needed and wanted that day; I WAS FEED THAT SUNDAY and I THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR IT, LJ. I have been trying to leave this message since the AUDITIONS!
Those who believe that God has a season for his will & works in our lives should have known that when LeAndria walked into the the audition with those flip flops——-It was indeed her season for God to fulfill some of his promises to her. I get chills everytime she opens her mouth. For the Elder I have nothing but respect and love becuz he too shows that we ain’t done till God says so. I will buy every CD from both finalists, but LJ reminded me that God will take what the devil meant for bad and make it ALL GOOD—–if we have faith enuf to walk in God’s promises.
There was no surprise in the conclusion.
Finally, BET Sunday’s Best: God is awesome with his appointments!
THIS season, this city, this group of contestants, these judges—-Divine Design for sho!!!!! God KNEW New Orleans needed restoration and a reprieve from had been and what was on the way. The judges-oh my God! I so wish I could have been in the audience; I know there was much praise going on even after the cameras shut off. Pastor Donnie, your spirit and praise was confirmation of the move of God. I love that Sunday Best listens to God’s direction in the format of the show. Ms. Kim Burrell was awesome with the tribute to the other contestants; that was great.

I had never viewed a Sunday’s Best show before this one. However, as I was channel surfing, I suddenly heard the voice of an Angel….Leandria’s voice burst forth from my television screen and annointed me from head to toe. I felt as though I had been given a shot of adrenalin. I jumped to my feet and started dancing the Holy Ghost dance. Praise God! With all due respect to the Elder, I cannot wait for Leandria to take the world by storm! Leandria, just keep on praising the Lord. Amen.

I’m sitting here watching the Sunday Best finale once again on DVR. I can’t help but write something because I sit with tears in my eyes. I am so touched by both of the finalist. It didn’t matter to me who won, I just thank you for allowing me to be able to hear your voices. I have been touched. Blessings on your journeys. God is doing a wonderful work in both of you. Thank you again for sharing your gifts. To God be all the glory!!
