It’s official: Celebration Of Gospel is returning on January 30, 2011 for its 11th year! Steve Harvey returns as host and this year’s talent lineup is fun and shall I say rather FRESH. There are some new faces in the bunch, some R&B legends as well as some amazing gospel mainstays that I think will provide a good mix that Celebration of Gospel strives for. There will also be special tributes to Bishop Walter Hawkins and Albertina Walker in this year’s show!
But that’s enough talking; check out who’s performing and appearing!

The show tapes Saturday, December 11, 2010 at the Orpheum Theater In Los Angeles. If you want to go, tickets are free. Just shoot an email to BETrsvp@bet.net to request your tickets.
BUT THAT’S NOT IT! We also want to give YOU (yes you) the chance to “Take The Stage” too. So if you’re going to be in attendance, why not audition to sing a hymn on our pre-show? You never know who will be in the audience, plus we’ll air the pre-show here on BET.com. Upload a video of yourself singing “Pass Me Not O Gentle Saviour” to our “Take The Stage” promotion for your shot. And maybe you’re thinking, I want to be down too but I won’t be there. That’s fine. Just upload your version too and you just may make it into the Celebration Of Gospel Digital Choir! Yes, we’re going to take all your uploaded videos, put them together and sing our hearts out online. It’ll be fun, I promise you!
