Hey folks!

Welcome to Monday! For those of us to work “9 to 5’s” (or some derivative thereof) Mondays tend to be really difficult. You’re usually either exhausted or uber relaxed from the weekend and Monday simply represents the difficulty of trying to pull it all back together to get through another week. It’s just the beginning of the week and getting started is always the hardest part.

Well today (Monday) was FULL of hysterical emails, rescheduled conference calls and assignments coming from left and right and my day was moving WAYYYY too fast. Someone even came into my office and said “Torrence, slow down. You look crazy.” So I closed the door, turned on my iTunes, put it on shuffle and “Bless Me” from Dave Hollister’s second CD “Witness Protection” began to play. It GOT ME TOGETHER!!! Sup folks. I kind of went on a twitter rant today about this topic so someone suggested I put it all in one place. So here goes.

There were a lot of excited new artists twittering and facebooking to the top of their lung fingers that “Ooooh, I’m nominated for a Stellar Award, go vote for me now!” Umm, I appreciate your excitement and all that, but when the Awards tape and they name the “nominees” from that podium, there’s a good chance your name will NOT be on the list. Was sitting here adding the new Tonex cd to my music playlists and a co-worker of mine came by my office and asked if I could send them one of my playlists, because they like the tunes they always hear as they walk by.
