So, it’s a new year and I’m trying some new things! I want to introduce and  welcome Latayla Andrews to the “The Gospel According To Torrence” family.  It’s no secret that I’m a gospel lover and I try to cover all things gospel on the blog, but although “gospel” is a message, sometimes the lines get a little crossed when it comes to the STYLE that the message is presented in.  So yeah, I love Gospel the message, and the style I “prefer” is gospel too. Just is.  Now I’ve studied music, have an appreciation for quite a few styles of music and have worked in various music genres that may surprise you, so shut it down with the “open your mind” comments that I’m sure to come. I like what I like and that’s just that. There are no rules to this whole “taste” thing, so with that, I realized that I didn’t do my best with covering music on the CCM (Contemporary Christian Music) front.  Well, that’s where Latalya comes in.
