What do the First Lady of the United States, Wacka Flocka and The Game have in common? Nothing usually! But this weekend in the District they all got crowds moving whether it was for a healthy initiative, or to help them dance the night away. Check out photos below.

First lady Michelle Obama hosted another event for her anti-childhood obesity campaign; ”Let’s Move!”  at the White House Kitchen Garden. Mrs. O spoke to chefs participating in the “Chefs Move!” initiative, a campaign designed to partner chefs with public schools across the country to create healthier cafeteria lunch menus.

Wacka Flacka brought his crazy energy to the District over the weekend, and brought The Game with him to rock the crowd at Ibiza Nightclub.

Not too much you can say about this unlikely duo except they definitely brought out a big crowd, and didn’t disappoint.

Chris Brownwas also in the District over the weekend, supposedly to perform at Hogates. According to our friends over at DC Fab!, not only did he not perform, but he dissed the joint! lol. For the scoop on C-Breezy’s diss hit up DC Fab! for details. CLICK HERE

Don Juan held a huge packed out birthday bash at Ibiza this past Friday night, and brought Big Tigger, models Rosa Acosta & Amazin Amie to host. He didn’t stop there of course, Don Juan held another blow out Sunday at Lima, which saw SoulWorld Ent. artist Que stop through. Click after the cut for more flicks from the affair.

Wale Album Release Party

The DMV and the entertainment industry are buzzing about the release of my homie, rapper Wale’s first EP, Attention Deficit which hit store shelves today (November 10th). The DC native is apart of the new school of rappers and musicians that are taking the reigns from the more seasoned artist, and was recently selected as a BET Rising Icon.

Now you can get in on the Wale action if you live in the DMV area. Tomorrow (November 11th) he’ll be signing CD’s at DTLR in the Mall in Prince George’s (3500 East West Hwy) at 6 o’clock pm. But most importantly is his album release party! You can come out and celebrate his success with him tomorrow at Ibiza Nightclub (1222 First St. NE) from 8-11 o’clock pm.

And of course I’ll be in the building supporting him! You should too.
