DC was buzzing with A-List activity last week! Our own Terrence J celebrated his birthday at the DC socialista’s mainstay Park at Fourteenth (920 14th St. NW).

DC also gave a warm welcome to new Redskins running back Larry Johnson last week. Wale, Terrence J and Taz showed up to support the new chief. The party was held at one of DC’s new hot spots, District.

Diddy Parties at Park at Fourteenth

Yeah so, I didn’t want to be too hasty in announcing the location, (or lack thereof) or date of Sean “Diddy” Comb’s first party for the weekend, but I guess I can go ahead since the venue has made the announcement.

Diddy and entourage will have a party at Marc Barnes’ Park at Fourteenth (920 14th St. NW) this Friday, probably after he attends the ultra exclusive party given by Ms. Lee for the BET Honors honorees that night. 

Remember Diddy’s being honored at the third annual BET Honors, taping this Saturday, January 16th.

Happy New Year A-Lister’s! Yours truly took a bit of a sabbatical to celebrate the holidays in style, and now I’m back to give you the low down on all things political and pop culture oriented in the nations cap!

First things first, word on the street (or on twitter to be more precise) is that P. Diddy will be hosting a “Dirty Money Weekend” (Dirty Money is his new ahem, super group) Bad Boy weekend on January 16th. January 16th is actually President Barack Obama’s Inaugural anniversary- so be sure to see a lot of star coming out the celebrate the first Black President in chocolate city that weekend.

Diddy’s asking Marc Barnes to hit him up, so I’m sure that means he’ll be throwing some parties at one of his establishments. I can’t imagine it’d be Love (stabbings, low attendance, bad crowds) so The Park at 14th (920 14th St NW) sounds more viable. I’m reaching out to my folks in the Bad Boy camp to map out the festivities, and I’ll keep you updated on whatever’s going down!
