I have never in my life been more proud to be an American than I was when I watched CNN Tuesday night, and I was in the military for a while. I want to say congratulations on the election, you really do deserve it. I also wanted to say that your acceptance speech rocked! I was really moved by what you said and could relate to when you referred to Ms. Ann from Atlanta. After everything settled down I sat down and thought that my grandmother ( I am only 25) went through some of those things and it was just and added benefit that she is alive to see the first elected black president.
