I am so happy that we now have a great president, however it has had a negative impact on the state that I’m from. I’m from Oklahoma were Mccain won all of the counties and it shows. I dont know about anyone else, but here we have had a lot of people upset and just mean all of a sudden. A teacher a my kids school told her that she couldnt talk good things about oboma, and I was thinking to myself, why not. I think this might be the begining of something not good, but I dont care what anyone thinks, I’m proud of my president and I dont feel like anyone should have to hide that.

I will forever be grateful and appreciative of this moment in my life right now. I can honestly say I was apart of something unforgettably great and historical. I still can’t believe this has happened. I am excited and anxious to know what this man will do for the American people. On Nov. 4th, I was filled with emotion because I was so humbled by the enormous amounts of supporters this man has. We finally have a President that we can understand and admire. This showed me that we are all capable of making POWER moves. If anything, this experience should demonstrate self confidence and motivation to accept change in our lives. Thank you, Barack, thank you!!

God “showed up and showed out”! I have followed this election from beginning to end and I can truly say “In my lifetime, I have never seen no other campaign so intense and perfectly ran”. I watch God “set the conditions” for Obama to win this election and I knew it was really going to be Obama’s time. I kept saying “there is no way that he can lose”. Too many things were being done righteously. Even satan had a good hand in the process. He convinced John McCain that negative campaigning was the route to go, but it backfired. From the fallacies of the McCain/Palin negative campaigning, to the untimeliness of Reverend Wright’s angry surmond, the collapsing of the economy (entire world included), and last but not least, the passing of his grandmother. I know, without a doubt, that God deamed Obama to be the next president of the United States of America. God “set the conditions” making it impossible for Obama to lose this election. For that, I am eternally grateful. I feel that God is giving this nation another chance to turn itself around. Obama is the new president of the United States. I can hardly wait for the Inaugural date (Jan. 20, 2009). I am going to cry on that day too. In fact, I’m still crying. I thank God for this experience, daily. Our lives have been changed forever. Thank you God. Thank you so very much for making this possible. St. Mark 9:23 and 10:27 says it all baby!…We must continue to pray for the Obamas and the Bidens. I thank everyone for voting too. I am so happy. I am happy!

How sweet it is, so profound with so much grace, a beautiful no drama family. Looking at President Obama on stage in Chicago, you could almost see standing behind him, the spirit of Meager, Fredrick, Martin, Malcolm, and the three young men who gave their lives while getting folks to votes in Miss. All looking at him and us with stern dignity. Their hands on each other shoulders, acknowledging this fine young man, and saying America this is who the lord has presented to you .A leader that you can be proud of and feel good about. Wake Up America, it a new day and things will Never be as it once was.

I’am so happy that my 83 year old grandmother was able to witness such a historical event. Having grown up in south, with so many restrictions,
and, disadvantages Im sure thought this would never been possible .NOW seeing an African-American elected as the president of the United States has to feel like a dream…a dream that you dont want to wake from. Grandma you were the first one I thought of when Obama won the election,. Although you were not able to vote I voted for the both of us……….I love you grandma!!!!!!!!
