My pride, hope, dignity and just plain happiness leaped that night when I heard you speak. m My ears cheered and my shoulders felt light again. I had always heard people tell stories of great African Americans but I was never there to witness it. WELL, I got my chance the first Black president….I just kept laughing and my soul sang all night….cause my 11 year old daughter witnessed it too.You have truly restored hope in alot of us….and just to let you know everything is everything, what is meant to be will be……God is truly ordering your foot steps…..and Michelle is your rock…….God bless you Obama…Love you………Mrs. Wright
As a Caribbean person, I was so excited when Obama won. It showed me that skies the limit, when it comes to achieveing my goals. In proverbs 22: 29 Seest thou a man dilligent in his business? he shall stand before kings, he shall not stand before mean men.
I am very disappointed with Idiot America. Barack Obama is a proven Muslim. I am an American as well as we all are and I believe we have set ourselves up in the worst possible. This country was founded on Christian beliefs and we are battling Muslims across seas and now we make him our president. I wouldn’t care if he was White, Black, Yellow or Blue as long as he was a true American and had beliefs like the majority of Americans
My first time voting i was very excited to stand out in the rain and cast my vote those long lines didn’t turn me away. And it feels good to know my vote really did make a difference. were leaving in history as we speak and when i found out obama became president tears came rolling down my face. because for that very moment i knew that a change was coming not only for me but for my daughter.
I am very proud that obama is our president of the united states… Im 18 and this was my first time voting and my vote did make a different… every vote counts!!!
I had prayed and Fasted that enire day of November 4, 2008 I was at Grant Park here in chicago.
The spirit of the Lord was there it was so much peace and unity. When they announced that he was the President Elect I shouted so bad that only God could have made this possible. I felt like Martin Luther King Jr, Barack’s Mom and Grandma Toot and Dad and all the greats were rejoicing in heaven at this great moment. They said that the people of Chicago could not do anything in peace we are so violent well I am here to say that there was no violence and YES WE DID! Have a peaceful time.
Father I come just rejoicing in this historical moment. I Thank you Heavenly Father that your will has been done. I thank you for continually have a steady hand on the earth rim. Father I thank you for continually petitioning on the right hand side of the Father for your people. I thank you for peace and sending your Angels before us. Thank you for allowing us to walk in devine order. Father God continue to reign down your peace, joy, love and happiness through out this universe. continue to encamp your Angels around us keep us from hurt harm and danger in JESUS NAME. AMEN!!!!!!!
Scott what planet are you living on? Don’t you have enough intelligence to know that those were lies made up by the Republicans to win. You can’t possibly be that ignorant to believe them. And in the end even mcain had to acknowledge that they were not true.

Words cannot express how happy i was and still am when i heard the news that we made it. There was a burden lifted from me, i am to happy to be a part of this historical moment in history, but better yet my son is also a witness to.Way to go Obama i can hardly wait to see how beautiful your family is going to make the white house. Way to go!!!!!!! You are the example for all of us, BELEIVE AND YOU CAN ACHEIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You ran a wonderful race and won! I’m so happy for you and your family. My God continue to bless you and be with you.
I’m Proud to be apart of this historic change now I can look into many thing far as being an african american now we as americans can expect change as obama said YES WE CAN!!!!
Congratulations President-Elect Obama & Family: I would like to congratulate you on your win. Continue to be the person God has designed you to be. My prayers are with you and your family for divine wisdom to lead this nation. My prayers are that we as a country will do all in our power to assist you. Even though it seems like we (the people) have little effect on Washington, this election made us feel like the voices of ALL the people were heard. I am praying that the Democratic parties will continue to work in the communites to educate us the people on how the government works and encourage us the people to assist the Democratic party in remaining a voice. I would like to learn more, instead of just voting because I want the Democratic party to remain strong. God Bless you, your family is my prayer.
I am from Trinidad and Tobago and have been following the campaing of President elect Barrack Obama from the get go. I am so elated that he has been successful in the election, he has captivated the hearts of millions of people, not just Americans but worldwide,on the day after the election so many Trinidadians were wearing their Obama t-shirts their was so much joy ,it was like if he had won the election in Trinidad. I wish that God bless him and his family richly and I hope he would be the GREATEST PRESIDENT that ever served the United States of America.
INSPIRATION
BEING APART OF HISTORY ITS AMAZING WHAT WE COULD DO WHEN WE COME TOGETHER
I DID NOT WALK w/ DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING
I DID NOT FIGHT w/ THE BLACK PANTHERS
I DID VOTE FOR OBAMA
I DID GO TO LOCAL RALLY’S
I DID CAMPAIGN FOR HIM EVERYDAY
BUT TO SUM ALL THINGS UP THIS WAS HISTORY AND I WAS APART OF IT.
THOUGH I THOUGHT I WOULD NEVER BE APART OF HISTORY
CHANGE CAME AND SAID
“YES WE CAN”
AND AGAIN HISTORY WAS MADE….PRESIDENT-ELECT BARAK OBAMA
NOT ONLY DID WE AS VOTERS EXPERIENCE HISTORY BEING MADE BUT OUR FUTURES DID…. OUR CHILDREN
I HAVE 3 CHILDREN….2BOYS AND 1GIRL AND WHEN HIS NAME WAS ANNOUNCED AS PRESIDENT-ELECT I CRIED AND THEY CHANTED, “OBAMA OBAMA OBAMA!” IT MADE ME PROUD!
MY OLDEST SON IS NOW MOTIVATED BECAUSE HE SEES THAT THE SKY IS THE LIMIT AND ONLY IN AMERICA YOU CAN BE WHATEVER YOU WANT TO BE…HE IS NO LONGER DISCOURAGED AND BARAK OBAMA HAS MADE THAT IMPRESSIONON HIM. THANK YOU
I never thought that I would see this in my life time, but I did thank God,
We have such a long way to go from here, he needs our prayers, If you can be a racist, a hater of man with a different color than why con’t you be what ever you want to be and still love this country. Mr Obama, thank you for giving us hope and and belief that “Yes we can” go from here and do better.
You make me proud!
To God, be the glory, for all the wonderful things that he has done!
President-elect Obama, I just love and admire the way you handled the business, the election. You were steadfast and unmoveable and abound yourself in god’s words. He will be with you as you take the reins of the office of the White house. Stay focus. Keep your eyes open and pray, and god will keep you and yours safe and sound.
Peace be unto you: today, tomorrow and forever.
Obama gonna make the world different. I beileve in Obama’s change. =]
