I have so much faith in the Obama Family. It feels so great to see how much America has changed. It is great to see that all races and ages came together to support this family. We have progressed so much in our consciousness. However, there are some people that need a little more time. One cannot determine that another will not be a good President by the color of their skin. We can not determine what is in a person’s heart by their religious faith. So what if President “Elect” Barack Obama were Muslim. The only reason people are scared of the word “Muslim” is because they have been pushed to fear this religion by the Government.. People are in this world for one purpose…GOD! The people that have carried attacks on 9/11 just happened to be Muslim. God said to love all…People believe there are many ways to get to heaven, but if you don’t have the main ingredient of LOVE, the door will be slammed in your face. I don’t care what religion Obama happens to be. He is a great man with a great family. I am Caucasian and I am so proud of how this country came together to elect this great man. At the same time, my heart aches for those who cannot see this Man as a child of God, not a black man. Obama, it’s yo birthday!!!
We partied like it’s yo birthday and you know we all got yo back cause it’s yo birthday!!!!! ALl Love to all my brothers and sisters throughout the world:)

Im so happy that I’m 18 because this being my first year as a voter in such a histroic election, I had the chance to vote. I just thank God that I was able to be apart of something so life changing. And I want to Congradulate President Elect Barack Obama…Change is finally going to come.
I never thought I would see this day. What a great moment in us history.
i am so proud to say my president is barack obama!!! this is my first time getting involved or even took interest in the election. let me start by saying the first time i did my research by viewing different interviews and speech president obama made, i was moved. i felt the way that i felt when i heard dr martin luther king i had a dream speech. i felt the realness in him the honesty. the feeling of me believing that he will make a change for us. he relates to us. i feel the same way about first lady michelle obama. she make me feel proud of being a black woman. not only is she educated she is dedicated to her family. she put me in the mind of coretta scott king. black women who stands by and support their strong black men, no matter what. bottom line CONGRATULATONS president obama. you and your family will remain in my prayers. change is coming.
This is a great point in american history. President elect obama should not just be an inspiration to African americans, but all americans.
I hope this election gets more young people of all ethnicities interested politics in the future.
I thank and praise God!!!!!!! God knew that it was time for a change and sent us a man, a Black man that can get the job done. Black and white america came together to show the world we needed change. There are still some white people that are upset but to God be the glory. I am proud that I have 5 generations that are still alive to see this. My family has been traced back to africa where blacks were Kings and Queens. Obama God bless you and your family he has his arms of protection around you and the !st family. I see the light at the end of the tunnel. God sent Obama to us. Love, peace and happiness……….
What an absolutely wonderful time in history for all humanity. We are certainly all the better because of the decisions we made on November 4, 2008. Let’s all commit to making the presidency of Barack Obama a success. http://WWW.BarackObamaMakesHistory.com
First I want to think God for giving us such a smart ,humble and powerful man. I can listen to him talk all day. It’s like he is a breath of fresh air, he makes you feel like you can do anything in the world. He makes you feel like you are somebody. November 4, 2008 will go down as the most important day in our life time. It was so many people pave the way for this day and we can oly give GOD the glory for everything. My mothe always told me What God Has For You It Is For You, And No One Can Take It Away From You”! So Barack May God bless you and your family and know that we are behind you all the way. We know it’s not going to be easy but just continue to put God first and get our country back on track. Thank You for all your hard work and determination and congratulations.
I AM VERY PROUD TO BE AN AFRICAN AMERICAN TODAY. FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HISTORY WE HAVE PUT A BLACK MAN IN THE OVAL OFFICE. I JUST WANT TO SAY TO THOSE WHO FEEL THAT HE WASN’T THE RIGHT CHOICE, WE AS A PEOPLE ARE TRIED OF LYING POLITICIANS AND THEIR UNBENEFICIAL WAYS TO OUR COMMUNITIES, LIVES AND OVERALL PRODUCTION OF THIS COUNTRY. I AM NOW HAPPY TO HAVE A MAN IN OFFICE THAT KNOWS WHAT IT IS TO STRUGGLE, TO KNOW WHAT IT IS TO NOT HAVE AND WANT AND NEED THINGS THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO BE THERE FOR US IN OUR TIME OF NEED AND HAS YET TO SHOW UP OR THERE ARE SO MANY REQUIREMENTS TO GET THEM THERES NO POINT IN ASKING OR SIGNING UP FOR THEM. BUT I FEEL WITH OBAMA IN OFFICE, HE NOT ONLY HAS OUR BEST INTEREST IN HEART, BUT HE KNOWS THAT THE STRUGGLE DOES NOT STOP WITH HIM AND HIS OFFICE BUT IT CONTINUES ON TO BRING FORTH MORE OPPORTUNITIES AND HELP AND AIDE TO AMERICA WHERE IT BELONGS.
To God Be The Glory for the things he has done. While we as a black people truly understand that this election was not totally a black thang, we recognize urgently that this election is an American thang! The Bill of Rights is finally not in vain, and the constitution finally includes all Americans, regardless of their race or status. The time is now moreso than ever that we show other Americans what we can do, with or without welfare, jobs and etc…that the oppress can rise again. Also, that we can be a dignified people with much or little regardless if we are not treated with such! Finally, no longer will we be looked over. As of November 4th,2008, President Elect Barack Obama, with the help of God- has opened the door for all walks of life. We now have the ability and the power to retain an higher education, better jobs, and a model family, regardless of our past status. This is a very important text that floated during the campaigns: “Rosa sat so Martin could walk…Martin walked so Obama could run..Obama is running so our children can fly!” Obama has now won, so let’s help him began another chapter in history with our full support, and regain the dignity of African Americans as well as Americans as a whole.
i am so grateful for “Obama” he is truly a blessing and i thank god for allowing me to help withe campaigning till the end. from day one to election day my people are truly appreciated in Michigan.
Words can’t even explain how it felt to hear networks announce Barack Obama president. My first time voting in a presidential election, first year in college, it will always be a moment that I will never forget. For a moment it felt as if the world stopped.
I can recall as a kid my freinds & I, In New Brunswick, N.J. being unable to swim in the local pool because we were Black. This incident was just in the 1968, what a crying shame! Fast Forward
May God bless this country and all it’s people who voted for this God sent Man. God bless Obama & his Family while they serve this Great Country and
Let’s give Thanks to BET for allowing this opportunity for all people to exspress themselves in this medium.
My brother’s and sister’s this is a great step to reaching the top of the mountain, But we as african americans have not reached the the top collectively. The election goes to show you what they will do when you hit them in the pockets. The economy is bad, and every one is having some kind of financial difficulty except americans in the top 20% in income. This goes to show when it’s hittin thier pockets they will do just about anything. look towards the great black hope to save the country. this is a time where we must come together to make our mark in history. my brothers and sisters lets support each other, get college degree’s raise our kids emotionally, spiritally and financially. get out of the criminal system, destructive behaviors and anything that will devide our race. lets get into uniting as a people, education, intelligence, financial and spiritual empowerment. although this is a great accomplishment for president elect obama we can’t become complacent. complacency allows mediocrecy to creep in. If you want to make true change you must start with yourself my fellow african americans. Support Obama invest in your on personal future, invest in your kids future, support black business, stop black on black violence, set goals in your life to obtain the success you are seeking. The next time CNN reports on the state of black america it will all be positive. We can not change other people actions we can only infulence them that is why (i am starting with the man in the mirror i an asking him to change his ways)micheal jackson .
Lets have a great future my brother’s and sisters.
Support Barack Obama the change that america has needed!
