Despite pressure from the right wing, ABC says it will not allow the Republican National Committee to run a series of Obama-bashing ads during the network’s healthcare special next week. Brushing aside criticism that the special would be nothing but an Obama healthcare infomercial, an ABC spokeswoman said, “ABC Television Network has a longstanding policy that we do not accept advocacy advertising.” Read more.

Republicans need to sit down and take a back seat. This is Obama’s time and they will do any and everything to try and not stand behind our President. Stop crying about things and work on making them better. They need to take that money and work on the next election instead of buying useless airtime..Not everyone wants to be on healthcare. The Republicans have a right to present their side… as long as it doesn’t annoy the so-called “Politically Correct” who control most of the media. Unlike ABC, CBS and NBC (whose credibility is becoming increasingly questionable if not unreliable), Fox News always allowed those with contrasting views to present their side. Numerous times Rev.Al Sharpton (who is certainly nobody’s Uncle Tom) has been a featured guest on both the O’Reilly Factor and Hannity. ABC certainly is not fair and balanced.
