Let’s just set the record straight. White people in this country who feel that they are losing everything they know, that the country their forefathers built has somehow been stolen from them. This country was not built by your forefathers, it was built by the forefathers and mothers and children of blacks, Indians, Chinese and Mexicans who slaved for many days and hours to make this country. And let’s not forget that white people stole this land any way. So, what are they complaining about?

I am a white woman and it really PISSES ME OFF when I hear other white people acting like this. Obama was obviously elected for a reason, and for the first time, has rallied more white supporters and even won over historically Republican states. Give him a chance as your president, he may even benefit YOU! After all, look how President Bush has screwed our country the past 8 years. Look beyond skin color, and then our country may begin to change for the better.

Among my friends we all knew this was going to happen. We joked but still knew that people of color, Blacks, would become the targets of random violence and harrassment because Obama was elected president. This was a historic election because the first Black man was elected the President of the USA. People say the most powerful man in the world is the man who sits as President and that man currently is Black. The leader of the free world is Black, people can you believe it, I never thought I would see this day come in my life time. Obama won this election by a huge majority which means the majority of voters, who are white support him and support the dreams this country was founded on. Since this country was founded people have come to America so they can make a better life for themselves, live the American dream and be judged by thier hard work not by what family they came from. For hundreds of years that American dream was available to all who wanted it except ethinic minorities especially Blacks. Blacks could dream of a better tomorrow as long as they did not dream to high or look like a threat that could change the status quo in America. My white friends would ask me who I was voting for and I told them Obama, they would ask why and I would say because he is Black, like me, he is half Black like me. My white friends would ask if I was serious and I would say yes. My reasoning was and still is, millions of white americans will not vote for Obama because of the color of his skin. Some will come out and say it others will hide thier true feelings behind other reasons. For the first time we have a Black President and Blacks all over America have now become targets of random violence and I say big deal what else is new. As a Black man in American I have been a target of random violence my whole life so far. Obama being President just gives the Dark side another reason to hate except now, they hate out of fear, fear that the American dream they have advertised for so long is actually true for everyone who is willing to work hard. They fear America may actually become the land of the free for all not just some. This is America, Home of the Brave, and threats that have always been there but are now being voiced will not stop me or the millions of other Blacks and ethinic minorities from celebrating what I beleive to be a new day and a brighter future.

So its ok to have a dumb ass white man in office who screws up the country, but now when an intellegent Black MAN comes into office the country is being taken away from what their forefathers built? You mean We Built! This country was built on the backs and labor of us so all I can say is that all of this violence is built out of pure ignorance!

Regarding the people that feel that this country was stolen from them since, Obama was voted in as President of the United States. Let’s take a little walk through history.

First of all, this country was stolen from the Native Indians and taken by force. Second, Africans were shipped hear with force by some of the same people. Third, even some of the Europeans were shipped over hear against their will due to the rich snobs, who didn’t want them in their country and Hispanics are allowed to cross borders illegally with ease only to be enslaved by the greed of some companies that hire them.

Now with the current economics and unemployment levels, a large number of Americans are finding themselves fighting and scrapping for even the lower level positions just to pay the rent. All races of people are being laid off of jobs and put out of their homes due to the greed of the current politicians in power, who allowed the GREEDY to be greedier.

The same politicians allow the GREEDY to steal work pension plans, retirement funds and allow large gas companies to charge outrageous prices while the average hard working Americans struggle. Also huge companies can receive billions of taxpayer’s money to bail out the GREEDY, who started this economic mess in the first place. There are many more examples of how Americans have been mistreated and cheated by this current country’s administrators.

How can any person, who claims to have good sense, get mad and stay mad over the next President of the United States, who received a legal and law abiding landslide majority vote of the people, a process which was establish by the people who wrote the laws?

People, who hate someone just because of their race, truly are hopelessly trapped and imprisoned by their thinking. Prison begins in the mind of a person not just the bars that are placed in front of them. Remember, ” As a man thinks so shall he be.” Why would you trade time pursuing happiness in exchange for wasting time on hate and violence toward other races. Sounds like a wasteful way to spend the life that has been given as a gift to us all. If you think that you are a better human being then show it by your living. Find a positive way in which you can help fix the current economical mess that America is in. Don’t throw away your life and soul over anger.

Remember that hatred destroys first the people who possess it. Any thought given to negative thinking of any kind is a lost opportunity to live the American dream of, ” The Pursuit of Happiness.”

To state that there is a subset of White people in the country is an understatement. I do not easily excuse their misbehavior and outright racism. I think the country would be wise to realize that as much as we speak about terrorism, we must not forget about the horrors of domestic terrorists who continue to maraude throughout the USA openly: KKK, Northwest Militia, Skinhead organizations, the likes of Timothy McVeigh, and the list goes on. We tend to excuse these organizations who commit terrorist against the country, people of color, and some intend to overthrow this government, as “racists”. They are racists, but they commit terror against the USA. The Government needs to target them as it targets any other terrorist group. We seem to feel the only terrorism comes from the outside, and we need to address domestic terrorism, that recruits and thrives openly.
