Terrence and Roxy couldn’t do it – because they are the current host and Will eventually have Rhianna and or Chris on the show..now that would be uncomfortable…good way to play it safe BET

They wouldn’t give a *?%% about this if it was regular ass people who work a 9-5 but because it’s chris brown and rhianna (who is far from a victim, she is more like a participant) now all of a sudden everyone from Oprah to Tyra to 106 and Park wants to stand up for domestic violence.

Domestic violence has been forever long, and now only gets peeked at by the public because of Chris Brown and Rhianna? Let me tell you that what ever the reason for their issue noone but them will know the whole story, but as for the countless other teens and adults being abused by someone who can in the next breath say “I love you”, who is watching out for them? Tina Turner never got the support, and furthermore people make fame and money evil.

In the wake of the Chris Brown & Rhianna or ChriRhianna incident, I’m in agreement that domestic violence is a serious issue that should be addressed, however, just like men should never have to beat up women to solve a problem, women(especially black or negro(need to grow)women) should know there place & not provoke a man to violently retaliate, i.e. getting in MAN’S FACE, publicly CURSING HIM OUT, SLAPPING HIM, ATTACKING HIM ON HIS JOB, & sadly the list of stupid mistakes women make grows. The bottom line my father(GOD bless both him & my mother)once told me that “the best way to hurt a woman is not to hit her but to QUIT HER!” However, “if a woman confronts & attacks a MAN like she thinks she’s a MAN, then she should face the consequences of her stupid actions like a MAN, PERIOD!”

I think this is a good topic to discuss enlight of the Chris Brown and Rihanna situation. No one should be abused, but unfortunately I feel there will always be domestic violence no matter how often we as a society talk about it. The reason why I say this for example: back in the 80’s when Nancy Regan became first lady she spearheaded a campaign about Just Say No To Drugs. And we know how well that turned out. Today this country’s war on drugs has not worked, and more people are using drugs more than ever before. Even with intervention and rehabilitation most addicts relapse several times before they get it together or the alarming statistic shows that 90% of individuals who are discharged from rehabs will not stay clean and sober for very long. Counseling is a good thing, but I’m a realist and don’t think counseling works for everyone with an social ill. It is really up to the individual(s) if there’s time for change with therapy or not.

Not much to say. Only got hit by 3 men out 25 years.I know when they are together it is not easy to seperate because it is more other reason behind the scence.Never know what behind the door. Usually i listen to a man talk of how smooth, tone, language, body language, how he approach, what kind of words he is using and so on. Usually some good lookin man come out to ———————–.In between, or average man has a great personality .Dont forget the world called manipulate. Some men will manipulate into something for a reason.Especially when gettin into arguement and then go to the bedroom. it is a manipulate thang. Rhinna dont need Chris .She can handle by herself. Is it money issue…

Shauna I so agree with you. This whole incident has gotten way out of hand and I’m so sick of hearing and reading about it. Let them deal with this issue in privavte amongst themselves. If she takes him back that’s her business. Man report on some real news.

It is a shame for 106 to wait until celeberties abuse each other before they discuss this subject. What about the people who were abused before the Chris and RiRi incident?

I do understand that every situation has a beginning, and when you are in a relationship everything seems to be going well, and then the dreaded 1st fight (verbal or physical), when I was young I thought I didn’t want to drive them away by acting up. But when I didn’t open my mouth that person took it upon themselve to get into parent mode (like you bet not open your mouth!), I started to feel like I was being punked, but I know me and from childhood to adult, punked wasn’t going to last, so I started verbalizing my attitude (with authority), but that mess didn’t work either. So, I thought who I was to me and I really like me and I love peace more than anything, so when any argument would start (OMG!, it took everything in me) I fought with instinct or sense, and one of them was coming. I chose sense fighting takes literally a day of life away from you never to return, you feel bad how the situation turns out whether you think you won or loss (unless you can hold your emotions well), and finally you have look at your mate and think how long do you think you can live with this drama?
