Andre Young Jr.’s Autopsy Offers No Clear Death Explanation
August 29th, 2008Cause of death to rap heavyweight’s son still unknown
It could be several weeks before the cause of Dr. Dre’s son’s death is known. The L.A. County Coroner says further tests have been ordered, since the reason for Andre Young Jr.’s passing wasn’t revealed in an autopsy. He was found unresponsive by his mother this past weekend after he’d reportedly been out with friends. Jenita Porter, Young’s mom, says she’d heard her son snoring a few hours earlier at about 5:30 a.m. “We don’t know yet why he died,” police Capt. Ed Winter tells People magazine. “There were no signs of trauma or foul play. We’ll be doing toxicology and other tests, which will take up to six weeks.” Young was 20.

My sincere sympathy goes out to Dr. Dre and his family. May God give you the strength you need to go on. I am the mother of two young son’s and too would be devistated if I lost a child so young. Remember God only lends us his children, so each day is a blessing. I know that your son was proud of all of your accomplishments, and his life was a gift that God chose to give you. Keep your son dear to your heart and let not his life go in vain.

I noticed that this website shows Dr. Dre’s son (Rapper Hood Surgeon).
I thought his name was Curtis. Does Dre have another son or is this Andre Jr.?

I can’t imagine what this family is going through right now. I am a single mother having raised six children on my own, my heart goes out to you all, i could not imagine losing any of my children, i am still mourning my great-grandmother’s passing after 12 years. I will pray that God comforts you and give you strength during this hard time. God bless and he is in a better place. My condolences!

my heart goes out to you and your family dre i lost a bro on may 25th 2008 it was told to me that my bro had died from a seizure that he has been suffering with since he was 18 months old my mother found him in his bathtub at home dead im his baby sister and im still going through it and yet still im still waiting for proof from he’s autopsy so god bless and iam truly sorry.
I know what you are going though, i feel so bad for you and your family. You will never get over that day.You just have to find away to release your pain.And you have to remember not to ask questions, GOD has a reason for everything. I will pray for your family and friends.Stay strong.
