I don’t want to see the same gospel acts on there timt and time again. Give some other artist a chance. Mary-Mary, Kirk, Donnie, Shirley and smokie no thank you. Put Tye Tribbet, Marvin Winans, Rance Allen, John P. Kee, Men of standard, Isreal & New Breed, Cece Winans, Dooby Powells, Kim Burrell, Bishop Paul Morton and Harvey Watkins and the christainaries. on there and Vanessa Armstrong.

How come there are no urban Christian/Gospel artists there? There are plenty of talented musicians making urban hip hop/spoken word that could/should (IMO) participate in this event (Da’ Truth, Lecrae)…why only secular urban artists with the gospel singers?

BET I’m surprise that the 2 number one hit for 2008 artist are not performining i.e. Marvin Sapps and James Fortune & Fyre. The only good thing about the line up is Steve Harvey will be hosting it again. Enough said.

They need new gospel singers to sing this time. There is a whole lot more singers that they can get to sing but it seems like they are stuck to certain ones……hope they can step it up this year.

You are right they do seem to have some of the same people. Tonex would give a wonderful performance. Da T.R.U.T.H, Lalah Hathaway, Marvin Winans, Jr. They should have some performers from every Genre

I agree with everybody else. Put L. Spencer Smith &Testament on there. I love that group. Kirk is good and all the others, don’t get me wrong but lets see some more of this gospel talent. Now, that hip hop gospel stuff is ridiculous. What in the world is hip hop gospel? How you gon put the world and the church together??? Thats not right. Anyway, lets get some new acts BET! Steve Harvey, keep him on there. He keeps it live and funny!
