I live here in Huntsville. Michael Scott was in a position of authority - he was the programming director - and he should have known better than to act like that. Black, white or beige … my opinion is that he should have been fired. The question regarding would a white person have received the same action? We would like to think so, but history and recent situations don’t bear that out. I hate to see anyone out of work in this economy, but actions have consequences and if the table were turned, I suspect Mr. Scott would insist that Mr. Pruitt be fired.
