Personally I don’t care about wite women. We need to have more knowledge about ourselves. We’re always complaining about nobody pays us attention, then when we get some information, and everyone seems to be mad about it. Do you really think that a test about what white people do is going to help us better ourselves?

That is why we have so may people commenting on negative articles. You think if they wrote about cancer or economy anybody would bother to read leave alone to comment on it.

I think this is a idiotic study…a waste of money/time. Obviously, if you’re doing something illegal (pot/crack), you’re going to be with shady people or will be willing to do shady things. The reason they only studied African American women could be because the HIV/AIDS epidemic is worse in the Black communities than any other ethic divisions.

We as blacks need to worry about ourselves more and not get so offensive about certain topics. It is true our communities are riddled with high rates of crime. We know whites use drugs more, but lets concentrate more on ourselves and our families. If we put our energy into those areas, rather than get upset every time something comes out that you dont like. As a black man I see how our young black girls carry themselves. Some where along the way we stop teaching them how to be confident young women.

CHIKE, LALA, I totally agree. In a majority the studies done on chronic and social diseases, Blacks always top the list. That’s because the majority of them are biased and opinionated. How often do whites top the list when the impact is negative? They (Whites) still want to believe they are the superior race and the majority . Well, not in America, not anymore. Actually they were never superior; well, maybe when it comes to being self-serving. As far as being the majority, obsolete. I heard a white comedian say that it’s wrong for Blacks to claim Barak Obama, Halle Berry, Tiger Woods because they are mixed. News flash, moron, all blacks are mixed. Whites are so jealous of our color which is our natural beauty. It’s something that we have that they can only achieve by mixing with us because white is not a color (look it up if you don’t believe me). And because more and more Whites (mainly child bearing females) are mixing with Blacks, they (Whites) will soon become the minority. So they continue to promote this type of bigotry and prey on the ignorant, the weak, and the gullible.

I know how they do these studies.They will only count the white girls that are a nuisance to the community while studing the black girls (women) no matter how high position they are in. I tell my students all of the time what you see on BET, MTV, VH1 and the other television stations they watch do not have to protray black people as thugs and bitches, but they do to keep the black people down. They need to start showing the real black people who has actually stepped out of that hood “lavish” lifestyle and has stepped into a professional and educational background. Show these kids that easy money will lead you to no money FAST and stepping out of the box does not hurt any one.

This study is BS if your going to do a study like this dont single out a specific race of females. Make the study more general, cause all females are the same weather they are black or white. And second what is the point caue Iam sure the use of liquor has contribute to more STDs in the the world then any other drug..

I never said i’m the authority on the black community. I’m more of the voice that rebuts many of the biased/ignorant/racist opinions written on here by members of the black and white communities. You never miss the opportunity to voice your opinions on here also (i have the same right to speak as you do). You almost never speak out against the crimes/wrongs that members of the black community commit. You usually blame some other entity (i.e. US gov’t). I just brought up a reason why the study may have picked Black girls to do a study on. That’s it.

If this report is true, I feel it is a sad thing, Red, Yellow, Black or White, the race doesn’t matter. Since it is on blacks, wake up young black ladies let’s take better care of ourselves. Why does it always have to be about black people. I guess their not talking about white people because they are strung out on more powerful drugs like heroine, PCP, and LSD’s.
