Alan Keyes is no longer a Republican. He left the Republican Party when they nominated John McCain, because the Republican Party has moved away from conservatism.

May I ask what is so wrong with wanting to know if your President is in fact a US Citizen? Barry’s sister Maya was born in Indonesia and she also has a Hawaii Birth Certificate. I believe there are two questions here.
1. Was he born in Kenya and later registered as a live birth in Hawaii?
His grandmother says he was born in Kenya.
2. If he was born in Hawaii, and then went on to become a citizen of Indonesia he would have to have given up his Indonesian citizenship and re entered the US as a Naturalized Citizen. I understand that if his mother had not been in the US 5 years prior to his birth, he would not be a citizen. His mother could not have lived in the US 5 years prior to his birth since she was 18 when he was born.
I don’t think this is about being black, being purple or being a Republican.
It is about knowing if your President is legit. It is not a done deal folks.
Obama is not the official POTUS until December 5 or 15th.

John McCain was born in a US controlled territory, to a US Naval officer, on a US Naval Base. There is absolutely no comparison. Show your original birth certificate Barack,,,,, or is it Barry?

What is all this name calling? I just want to know the truth! Is he or is he not eligable to be president? If there is nothing to hide ,just release
the birth certificate. When I applied for a goverment job, I gave a copy of mine. The not giving a copy of the birth certificate is what bothers me.

Senate seat 4 years ago…Man, let it go. It’s long past due — we have to stand strong together; no more of this separation of political party crap. Barack O. will soon be our country’s leader. I believe Obama is a smart enough man to know the “rules” when it comes to running for office. If it was any chance that he would get caught, it is hard to believe he wold risk it. As far as Keyes goes he has a right to want to know the citizenship but it looks bad because he 1st lost to Obama & he’s black. I think Keyes is just one of those dudes who needs attention & doesn’t want to go down for supporting a man because he’s half black. You get more news coverag if you oppose your own kind, regardless of if its legit. I personally don’t care if Obama was born in the U.S. if he can help turn this country around, since there have been plenty of American born idiots who have tore this country down.

If Obama was born in the U.S., why doesn’t he release the vault copy of his birth certificate and be done with this and the 17 other lawsuits pending against him on this subject? I find it amusing that so many people on this forum are wondering why Alan Keyes is not questioning where Arnold Schwarzenegger was born. There in no constitutional requirement that a governor be born in the U.S. but there is a constitutional requirement that a president be a naturally born citizen of the U.S. which means he must either be born in one of the states or if he was born outside of the U.S. both of his parents would have to have been naturally born in the U.S. for him to be regarded as naturally born.
