Really people, think about it! What makes you think the information is accurate? Also, where do you think the information is coming from? It’s very hard to trace, I could imagine, but I really don’t know. I just find it hard to believe that it would be accurate. Olounwa is a very bitter and angry person whose opinions are just that her opinions and we don’t have to agree with them. She represents the arrogance and superiority that most African’s have toward AA’s. They want to be perceived as better than us mere AA’s yet they also want the same benefits that we are afforded as black Americans. They proudly claim their countries of origin with heavy emphasis that they are NOT AA’s; yet they jump on the first thing smoking to get to America because their continent/country is sooo poor and underdeveloped. They are actually very confused and it’s evidenced by the fact that this Olounwa doesnt’ even live in Africa the continent that she purports to love so much she lives in UK. Ignore this old barren hag and research your roots and even travel abroad to see from whence you came. I’ve been several times and each experience is difference. African’s like Olounwa are a dime a dozen with their Americanized ways and mouths full of criticism.

Now i just checked out the website, good concept but I was under the empression you could trace back your personal orgins back to the motherland but its not that type of site the only way you could do that is if you knew the affrican name of the your slave relatives, other than that its just a nice site to gather intersting facts about the slave and ships.
