Bishop and Prophetess Weeks have displayed before us the ins and outs of everyday people doing whatever necessary to save face for businesses,
finances,and reputations at the cost of destroying themselves with innocent blood on both
their hands. But as shocking as this event is, there are countless testaments that these things will happen amongst us in the bible. We can only pray for them, knowing that God is in control and will ultimately get the Glory!

FIRST OF ALL, WHO IS BISHOP WEEKS? I DON’T BELIEVE THIS MAN FOR NOTHING. HE THINKS WE ARE ALL STUPID. THIS SITUATION IS TOO SERIOUS FOR SOMEONE THAT IS A “NATIONAL EVANGELIST” SUCH AS JUANITA TO MAKE UP. I BELIEVE WEEKS IS LYING AND JUANITA BYNUM SHOULD NOT SUBJECT HERSELF TO ANY MORE OF WEEKS’ MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL ABUSE. JUANITA IS WORLD KNOWN, BISHOP WEEKS WAS JUST RIDING HER COAT. HE IS FILLED WITH JEALOUSY AND HE WANTS TO DESTROY HER. I KNOW SHE REGRETS THIS MARRIAGE.

I think there are two sides to every story. It’s not about who you believe anymore , it’s about being true to oneself. i am not a follower of either but my aunt is she said in 2005 at one of juanitas conferences she said “be careful who you marry”. I can say that she did state in the first Essence article that this incident wasn’t the demise of their marriage and that they were both to blame but Bishop not only denied that he ever hit his wife, but made himself look like less of a man on tv by degrading her saying stuff like “she thinks she’s Oprah”, ” she needed a king to be a queen”, I’m a 3rd generation Bishop(as if she is nothing)”, and “we tried to have kids, it just didn’t happen” the last comment was totally uncalled for. any woman who has fertility issues, this is a tough thing for them and to tell that to america is as if he is a man on the street talking under her clothes! That is not cool. It seems like he is jealous of her and her accomplishments!! I didn’t know who he was until she married him! so if anyone has benefitted, it has been him. I think that she has a strong personality and has a little gangsta in her so I believe him when he says she can fly off the handle but admit that he can to. I don’t think he is genuine because he seemed to avoid taking any blame for the incident (be real, just say I lost my cool, you are human) don’t deny that you hit her at all. Then he said ” my arms are always open”, as my grandma used to say N…. please! She shouldn’t return to him because clearly he doesn’t RESPECT her! He speaks like a controlling abuser ” she will look back and regret that she didn’t listen to me and stayed”.

I feel like the media is just trying like always to put their inputs in something an all this is not called for im sure if he was’nt known as a well paid preacher this issue would not be as blown up this is life if she is divorcing him let that be it and its really nobodys busniess period

This man should step down and get some help! There is no excuse fora man to beat and choke a woman. PERIOD… Especially, a so-called man of God. I know Juanita is an innocent person, however, that woman beater should have maintained a cool spirit. This is why I hesitate to felowship with so-called church folks. They are so worldly and can’t be trusted!

Amazing! after months of seeing pictures, hearing reports and reading the accounts of what transpired between this man and wife I find it amazing to read comments from the so-called black Christian community. This situation is nothing new to the black community we have been beating our spouses for years I’m not in support of this treatment to any woman but this is just an extension of the unmanaged anger that lies in most black men preachers or not. What hurts (and it hurts all of us of color or Christian) is that high profile Christian representatives have been doing wrong, living alternative life styes and keeping secrets hidden behind closed doors in the dark for years now God is revealing those hidden things for what they are “SIN” you reap what you sow if he is found guilty then he will pay the price of his wrongful actions.What we all need to do is what Jesus said “Pray for one another”

God is able to restore them. As Christians,let us pray for them. I do believe that what the enemy meant for evil God will turn it around and use it for His glory and for their good. This is a set up from the enemy not by either. We all need to learn who we are fighting against, the devil. The two are good people but the devil is a liar. Who can pick the first stone??? Let us be like Jesus!

This matter is truly a disappointment to unbelievers or to the world. Going to court and degrading each others characters on TV is not the way Weeks and Bynum should have handle this issue. They are suppose to represent the Kingdom of God.It’s reading,understanding,following and teaching God’s word that make us strong Christian leaders not an image we want to uphold or a family tradition. Yes the enemy will try to kill us,steal from us and destroy us because christians are taking people from his kingdom. We got to be ready to fight back with God’s word and not our word or understanding. I just want unbelievers to know that there is a God and Jesus died for each and everyone of us. Jesus can be all that we need him to be and do not get discourage by what you see others do. Know God for yourself.

This is heartbreaking, trully heartbreaking…and for those of us who know the Lord Jesus Christ and HIS WORD for ourselves, we can clearly see the enemy’s quest here…what I will say is this…I have heard comments re:this woman of God that has been so unfair to her. Juanita Bynum owes no man an explanation for what has and did happen in her marriage, she is commissioned, chosen and released to the world by God to preach and teach HIS WORD, she has and is doing that. She does not have to open her front door and invite the world in to what is happening, has happened and will happen in her marriage. This is God’s alone…and she is not wrong or a false anything for not having done that. God is with her..this the world will also see!
