Some people have no fear of god. They can choose to live how they want to but now that aint enough they want to tarnish the Sanctity of marriage. Just because they want to feel ligit. Just like the devi to leavr nothing sacred. They dont understand and dont want to.

We all sin….everyday of our lives! There are people who believe in God and those who don’t. Where in the bible does it say that man has the right to proclaim himself better than everybody else. The Lord is my savior and I have to answer to him. I’ve struggled and argued with gay mariage, yet when all is said and done, it is for that person or people to answer to the Lord. Big d– I have performed Holy Unions for GLBT people and Weddings for different gendered people — one is just as important as the other. Preachers who do not believe in GLBT ceremonies don’t have to perform them and preachers who perform different gendered ceremonies “just because we want to get married” without providing couples counseling is doing a disservice to that couple. I have been in the situation where a same-gendered couple desired to have a Holy Union; however, due to their attitudes and behavior towards each other I directed them to a therapist that could better assist them in handling their issues — they were not ready.

Oh and Sweetpea — if you read the Creation story — you will find that Adam and Eve where in the eastern portion of the garden. God just didn’t create the East — he also created the North, South, and the West — so who knows what God put in those directions. And if only Adam and Eve where on earth where did Cain get his wife from — did he marry his Sister?

Love — I know who’s in charge on a daily basis — there are many GLBT Christians who have reconciled their sexuality with their spirituality and are at peace with who they are and more importantly WHOSE THEY ARE!

Question — Do you ever wonder if God made GLBT people to see how the straight folks would treat us?

I heard someone say its possible two men could be dancing as a couple on the TV show “Dancing with the Stars”. Even my wife says that sounds disgusting. To each his own, but if Bill decides to blow his friend Bob, everyone doesn’t need to know about it. I understand the benefits for the domestic partner argument and they should get benefits, but leave it at that. I’m sure some gay teachers will teach it in schools, if we all vote it’s ok, or normal, why wouldn’t they. I voted against same-sex marriage and will continue to do so.

Nadine! Homosexuality is a SIN! God ordained marriage between 1 man and 1 woman. I don’t know what Bible you are reading, but God’s Word says to be “fruitful and multiply”. 2 men and 2 women can not bear children TOGETHER! When Noah built the ark there was 1 each of a male and female, so… You have it twisted and should re-read or just go out and purchase THE UNCOMPROMISING WORD OF GOD “The Bible” in layman’s terms because you have it TWISTED Sistah.

First of all NaDine, I’m not here to debate homosexuality. I believe in what God’s word says about homosexuality,whether or not the word itself was introduce in 1930. It doesn’t matter, it is what it is. And I don’t need a course of what the bible says. I know what the bible says about all sins not just this one but since this is the subject please read (Romans 1:18-32, God’s Wrath Against Mankind) verses 26-27 states: “…….Because of this,God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.” I’m not sure what bible you are reading but you have been deceived by the deceiver himself, Satan. I don’t care how long you’ve been an ordained minister, obviously you don’t know the truth and haven’t been convicted or convinced by God’s word. It’s such a shame that discrimination such as this was passed. I voted no, just as my sister, but a couple of older family members voted ‘yes’ based on ignorant fears. What’s so wrong with two people who love each other, marrying? I am so ashamed of Californians who voted yes, and in general those who bash these people for wanting to attain rights and equality promised to all people of the United States. Even more so when we elected an outstanding individual such as Barack Obama for our next president, only to have the same day marked as continuous discrimination over people who are…well people. The inhumane ones are those who dare strip them of rights. Ugh. So unfathomable.
