Let me make something clear to ALL who were not there. First; there wasn’t just black folks tearing up things, also, alot of the people arrested weren’t from Oakland. More important, there were peaceful organizations that were there that did not and would not recommend that type of response, that were there protesting. Last but not least…. How many of you have seen in the media showing the peaceful protest? I notice here in Oakland, the media showing the riot over and over again. What a way to get the focus off the real issue, wouldn’t you think?

This is not an insult, so please try not to take it as such. To those who have brains, mind or whatever you want to call it. There is not greater SIN than a closed mind and a controlled mind. It is your GOD given rigt to have an open mind and think critically. GOD gifted you with COURAGE… and you have the POWER to use what is yours, Know that! My heart goes out to the families of youth brother, and to the officer, however I see people going to the streets because of this. Let’s all stop and think for just one second, Why are we doing this! why don’t you go out to the streets to stop all the drug boy’s that selling the weapon of mass destruction i.e Crack,
thats killing peoples minds daily. Let’s all wake up and set our priorities straight.This is not the first nor will it be the last time this may happen, so let’s get to the root. do this to the drug boys out there night and day selling drug to our women, killing our youth and destroying our brothers. So go to the streets for that.

Feliciaca, I for one stopped riding bart Once I saw what happened. For a week now I’ve been sacraficing the long ride on AC Transit in place of bart. I don’t plan to support agencies that don’t hold their employees accountable for such behavior.

Why shot him in the back and look happy about it. While the other officers around him where watching and they knew he was going to shot him. Notice the other cop moved before the cop shot him. They had talked about it, walked over to the man, pulled him onto the floor and then shot him.
No matter what color a person is, we need to stop this madness and pull for a better world. Martin Luther king, had a dream, but it seems as we if are messing it up. Rosa parks, fought for our rights, and yet some of us still sit in the back of the bus. Bill Clinton, well u know what he did. But, alot of great people did things so that we can better ourselves and our communities.
