this is very sad but we must learn to fight without trashing things. We can fight with words also in court. We have the law on our side even if it dont look like it but we do. There are steps to take and we must do it in the right way. We could of had a peaceful rally and talk to the right people and followed those steps. now we have to clean up what took African American so long to get. Kendra, don’t confuse the issue. What ever the case may be in regards to the initial behavior of the young black men, from what I can see from the videos posted on Youtube, they were not resisting the officers, and the young black man that was killed was faced down laying on the ground, so he should be alive today. What ever he was doing originally, either causing problems or defending himself, it did not warrent a death sentence. He did not deserve to die!

I know that this situation is horrible, and folks should try in the most non destructive way in making a point that a human being was taken out away (aka as a non violent protest), and when a person such as police officer who has swarn an oath to protect, but when an individual officer crosses that line does not make all cops bad, and no more does it make sense to destroy your hometown.

I saw the video and also spoke with people that were on the train and waiting to get on….Like I said Im from the area…Im not excusing the force that was used that led to Grants death…I am saying we need to respect each other and our community. The video does not tell the whole story
