I understand your feelings and I feel the same way BUT we can do more damage with criminal and civil law suits, changing legislature, changing arrest and detainment policies, court orders, etc…than we can by destroying our own neighborhoods. It takes time but it weighs heavier than hurting other black business owners and our community. I move from the “Town” years ago. It will always be home. I can recall an incident when a B.A.R.T. officer chased me and some of my friends out the coluseim station for walking with an abandoned advertisement sign. He said it was city property when it was on the ground and had been trampled and walk on all day long. It ’ssaid that Mr.Grant had to lose his life for whatever reason. I don’t like the fact that black businesses were destroyed. The crime was commi ted by a different race. Why do we continue take our frustrations out on ourselves? If we want to retaliate, let it be against the government officials and others who are responsible. It may sound senseless, but we don’t get herad sometimes until we act like n****s.

I do think that is good that people want to stand up for each other but allot of these people are using that as an excuse to be just plan ignorant.
