I dont know about yall but I’m Tired of all these isolated murdering of black people. I say we all get armed and and give them a real reason to hate us. I say we take our country that we built with our blood sweat and tears back. Its only a matter of time before the next civil war so all my black people out there if you dont own a gun get one.

My prayers go out to this young man and his family. We as a nation need to get involved. This is insane!!! My black people be careful on these streets. There are so many closed minded and evil people who are still very angry, afraid and oppose to Barack Obama being our next President. Many of them are in law enforcement across the country. We are a target for them, specially our young black men. I lived in SC for the past two years and I have seen a lot of police activity, including violating civil rights; and they are getting away with this type of conduct. It has been an increase of police activity since Obama was elected. Every time I darken my door the police have someone pulled over, and the majority of the time, the person is black. This incident is a tragedy and unfortunately, unless we stand up, fight back, and make it clear that we will not live in fear, slavery, or endure injustice, it will happen again to another young black innocent man or women. I would like to see our influential leaders and communities fight for this young man and his family. We have come a long way as a people and a nation. Many have sacrificed their lives for the progression we have made today; however, there is still so much work to do.

i am in total agreement with UMLAW here. this truly is a great loss however we as a nation can prevent these types of situations…by simply staying out of trouble.
i’m not saying what that cop did was right…because it is never right to take the life of someone for no apparent reason. however everyone needs to look at the facts here. this man was told to stay seated. if you look at the ENTIRE video, it shows the man attempting to get up and argue with the cops. why would you do this?? they have badges…and per everyone on this blog….they shoot for no reason (i hope you all can hear my sarcazm here)…so why put u’rself in that situation.

Honestly it seem as though the police officer accidentally fired the gun. I feel that he and should be held accountable for the murder of another human being and the carelessness of holding the gun—especially while the victim was handcuffed. Did you see the officer jumping at the sound of the gun? I always say, if you are afraid of people—you should never be a police officer in the first place.

I JUST WATCHED THE VIDEO..IT BROUGHT TEARS TO MY EYES AND I AM PRAYING FOR HIS FAMILY. 25 MILLION WILL NOT BRING THIS BLACK YOUNG MAN BACK. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THESE RACIST COPS AND THEIR ACTIONS. HE IS ONE OF MANY BLACK YOUNG MEN WHO ARE LOSING THEIR LIVES BECAUSE OF THESE ACTS OF UNJUSTICE.

Just watched the video. it happens at 1:27 of it.

It does look like an accident and not intentional. It looked as if he was drawing his gun out and it accidentally shot off.

Man…. my heart drops and I get such a feeling of sorry for the poor guy everytime I watch it. =(

He’s to be a trained individual who knows how to handle his revolver.
