I can’t but to think that this young man must be Arician America, and the off duty officer is white. If that is the case, then really there is no hope for this young man. Racism is still rampent in the United States of America. It is my opinion that even if clear and convencing evidence is present, it wouldn’t matter. Someone must pay for the White officer’s death, so it might as well be this young man.

After all the years that Troy Anthony Davis spent in prison, he should not be fighting to be spared execution. He should be pleading his case before a parole board. I don’t care about the ethnicity of the perpetrator and the victim of any crime. Crime is crime and criminals deserve to be punished. In this case, even if Mr.Davis is guilty, he doesn’t deserve to spend a lifetime on Death Row.
Its unfortunate that Mr. Davis has to spend a lifetime on Death row but what most of us fail to realize that a life was taken, cop or no cop. I applaud him for making every effort to fight this case to spare his life but in the end the only one that will be able to help in anyway is the man up above.
