Cyber Attack Shuts Down Urban Music Sites
June 28th, 2008A group - or maybe even an individual - named “Anonymous” claimed responsibility for attacks this week that shut down urban music Web sites AllHipHop.com and SOHH.com. When readers logged on to the sites Friday they found fake headlines with racial slurs, doctored photos and foul language. According to the SOHH management, the hackers even made off with some users’ personal info. Some fear Felicia Palmer, SOHH CEO, said “It appears that hackers are specifically targeting Black, Hispanic, Asian and Jewish youth who ascribe to hip hop culture. Other websites, including AllHipHop and Da Piff forums, have also been compromised or threatened this week.” The FBI has been called in to investigate the security breaches but insiders in the blogosphere are passing another version of the story around. They claim SOHH and AllHipHop.com users logged on to a hacker Web site and provoked the counter-attack. Stay tuned for more developments in the story.

The problem I have with this hatred towards us and our music is that… They want to dress like, be like us, inflat their lips and ass like us, pimp their ride like us, among other things. And, yet they hate us. GO FIGURE!!!
that’s terrible. i post on sohh too and i was wondering what was going on.
What’s really said is that so many of these sites somehow left themselves open to compromise. This should be interesting to hear just what exploits were used and how other sites can prepare against this.

I went on that website on chimpout.com. They blocked me from useing the website. They are spewing some real hatred. I gave them a few of my own, but is there anything that can be done about this website?
It must be a drug headed folk that doesn’t
know what to do with his or her life! That’s a sign of a devil at work.

‘CRACKAS’? Come on, we all need to stop spewing out racial slurs. Its terrible idiots feel the need to attack people for no reason. For people to stop being racist, everyone needs to stop being racist. Sadly, that will never happen.
