Ponder????………..What’s to ponder? He killed a man that was handcuffed!!!!
He should get first degree murder,not second,not manslughter!

What do they mean, the D.A. is pondering charges? They have this roque officer gunning the young fellow down while he is handcuffed, laying face down on the ground. Then they arrest protestors. This is really beyond any comprehension about justice that I might have had.

Then the officer had the nerve to say he thought he had his tazer. Why would he have to taze a subdued person? Isn’t Oakland where they started gunning down the Black Panthers back in the day? Hmmmmmm. Still dealing with blue on black crime, even in the 21st century.

I think charges should be brought up. He was careless and incompetent.
Having the authority to carry around a firearm commands great respect and care for the damage that can be done if handled carelessly; that of which he exemplified.

This isn’t about white and black. This is about carelessness. People need to get over themselves with talking ‘modern-day lynching’, and racism on this.

I personally feel like that perticular cop should get the death penalty…..I mean there should be no doubt about whether or not he goes to jail or not because thats just wrong he commited a mirder in cold blood and he might get away with it just because he’s a cop and let alone white man the hell with that they need to lock his ass up under the jail. He took a man away from his family from people that loved him and never got to say good-bye how the hell does he think that makes them feel…..so now someone should take him from his family and let him know how it feels….but thats just how me and everybody else in New Orleans feel…..

What do they mean, DA is pondering a decision on whether to indict that cop? That should be an immediate given. I don’t understand why they are giving this cop so much time? They should go to his house and arrest him, he committed a crime and it was caught on tape. This is another display of injustice. I also saw the video and didn’t see what Oscar was doing wrong, which warranted the cop to take out his weapon, let alone discharge it, in his BACK!! What are the prosecutors Blind?? This is ridiculous……….My thoughts and prayers go out to Oscar’s family and little girl.

I agree there is nothing to ponder. But my questoin is why hasn’t this man gone in for questioning? What is there to hide? If he thinks he did nothing wrong then why stay away? Your partners have told their version, why can’t his employers force him to come in. The longer he stays away the more he can conjure up a story that suits him and what happened.
