This is the third time a bart police has killed! The other Bay Area Rapid Transit Cops ( cops are those that create caos and savage acts) (Officers are those that try to do the right thing) got away with it. So, forgive me if I feel we will not get what we want as far as this cop goes. Listen to the choice of WORDS being used (ponder)….. WOW!

Summons the man! Have the Sheriff pick him up! Its that simple!

I don’t trust none of them…. that claim that they’re going to ” LOOK INTO IT”.

I don’t understand what the problem is. How can they not get in contact with this officer? Why are the prosecutors pondering anything? There is no question that this officer murdered this young man. I am willing to bet that if this transit cop had been black and murdered a handcuffed white man, his *** would have been locked up awaiting trial before the night ended.

Be glad I am not a Judge. There would be no trail or jury..just a death sentence for this officer.

It is sad this is still going on. I think it is sad that a young black man lost his life because of a trigger happy cop. I feel sorry for the family and it is still unbelievable.Why? This young man was handcuffed! Is this cop unstable ?How was he trained? I don’t trust any cops because I was stopped and I was trying to explain myself to a white cop moving my hands talking. He told me, stop moving around .He pulled a gun on me and I reported it and nothing was done. I received a ticket for driving unstable because I had a flat tire. Then I asked him if he would help me and he said no.Society has accepted bad cops on the force. They need their backgroung and mental stablity checked especially in their family.

Being that he (he= the cop) had only been on the bart force for only two years. I wonder if he’s a soldier of the bush war. Because that is what we are dealing with as police in mine and your cities. PTS syndrome, shoot and ask question later.

I thought all police were trainned to have their pistol on safety unless…. ? And even if he thought it was a taser, why did he feel the need to taser with many other cops there as look outs and the other cop imitating Hulk Hogan with his knee in Oscars Kneck, while Oscar was on his stomach. Why did Oscar have to plead for his life and inform these cops that he has a daughter Please don’t taser me or shoot me… If he didn’t feel his life was at stakes???????? WHY…….

Worse part about the whole thing is it will happen again. Now that is sad!!

I think its time that jusice gets served. We should no longer sit around and let this continue. Gangstas , soldiers, hustlers , warriors ect. I’m willing to bet that the pondering people of evil power, told that cop to resign…. Remember, on the day that cop shot Oscar, peoples phones and cameras were taken away by the police. But, because of ther anonymous footage that we all have viewed ( And I pray for protection for the individual who produced that footage and thank her for her courage) they have to now cover their asses and his. O.k. what the hell is there to ponder…This what 1st degree murder. This man shot and killed somebody who was already handcuffed facing the ground. Then to say he thought it was a tazer be serious, that still don’t make sense, why would you taze a man who was already tamed. Let this would have been a white man shot by a black police or any other race other then a white police, and their behind would be serving hard time starting that night. This makes no kind of sense what so ever, what is the problem, no matter how many of us you kill we are still going to be here, our color is not going to chage so deal with us being here. First of all, no one know if this white cop was a racist, or at the very least, if the killing was over race. Secondly, Black men commit such a ridiculous percentage of the violent crimes in the US today, that any injustice is from said group not any other. Black men make up almost 50% of the prison population…that is insane. Instead of making arguments against the police in general (obviously, there are bad/racist cops and they should be punished) speak up against those in all the communities in the US that do wrong.
In addition, racial profiling is done because of the stated issues above. The cops are playing the odds, just as airport screeners do. Is it wrong? Maybe, but it can be avoided if you don’t commit so much crime.

There is nothing to PONDER. This man should have been locked up as soon as the police arrived on the scene. This is why people of COLOR think that there is no JUSTICE for us. Now they say that no one can get in touch with him, he should not have been allowed to go home. Just imagine if the gaurd was black?????

Before I comment on this story. Let’s get the facts stra8 my cousin was not handcuffed by the police officer. The facts of the story is he had 3 police officers on him. 1 on his neck, 1 on his back, and 1 at his feet. This is what shocks up it takes three cops to take down a unarmed man, then you wanna shoot him. We as a community are past mad and pissed off. We are and will burn OAKLAND down. If no action is taken. In my 28 years of living in Oakland has seen so much violence from cops towards young black men, this has to stop NOW!!!! Oscar grant is the finally straw. Rip cousin we love you gone but never forgotten.
