My GOD I dont know what that cop was thinking, I really believe something
just snap in his brain and he lost it. I also know that the hiring policies of the bart police department must be reviewed . In the city of Milwaukee
right next to Chicago they inplemented a new policies for hire police officers.
First all cop must have a college education, second before you are hire
you must go through a series of intensive phycological tests , also you
must pass diversity test, background check have to be very well investagate.
Miwaukee also started a new foot patrol,officers must walk in high crime area and they were told ,the neigborhoods you patrol get to personelly know the people, it’s working crime is going down communitcation between officers and the citizens is starting to work. I was so please when I was visiting my relatives and when i was chilling, out on the front porch and two patrol officer one black & one white officer walk past my aunts house and stop on her porch to chill out with us for a second and their both were very friendly and cool and the kids in the hood loved them, that’s what’s policing is all about….

Those are the requirements that recruit good cops; formal education, psychological exam, extensive background check, diversity evaluation, etc… Additionally they need to require periodic and random psychological exams, diversity evaluations and monitor any police internal investigations related to race matters, abuse of power, etc…. We need a lot more good cops out there and ALL states should upgrade their hiring requirements to reflect that need. Don’t just hire any snot nose redneck who has reached 18 years old and his pappy was a cop to so boom he’s hired! Most black males will have a negative driving experience with the cops at some point in their lives while driving innocently. It’s an unspoken rule in the black community that at some point we have to teach our black sons that even when they have done NOTHING wrong they must still know how to conduct themselves (to avoid immediate execution) if pulled over or stopped by the racist cops. Of course this racial profiling doesn’t apply to white boys; the white boy might go to jail for talking or acting a certain way but the black boy might end up in the morgue. One innocent move could be his last move all because of some unbalanced idiot with a badge.

When I first saw this article last week, I thought that was my little cousin, Terry. My mouth dropped to the floor. I read the story and found that it wasn’t, but thought about the “what if’s.” What if this was your family. Your child’s father. Your son. The violence has to stop.

We all have to think a/b this realistically.
Automatically we pull the race card b/c the police officer was white and the victim was black. If the cards were in the other hand and the officer was black and the victim was white, what would we say?
Or even if they were both black?
And even more so, if they were both white, would we even care as the black community? It’s a possibility that he could have been reaching for his tazer but we do not know 100% all the facts. The media is using a play on words and alot of people are falling for it.
Honestly, the most he’ll be charged w/ is involentary manslaughter and that’s it.
As much as people riot, that’s the most he’ll be charged w/ and will serve some time.

I personally dont understand what there is to PONDER about???? I mean this cop shot a young man who was handcuffed…. If you ask me this is just another way that the Cops misuse there power… How is it that you can shoot someone in handcuffs and say” Oh i thought it was my tazer” the weight of a tazer and a gun are diffrent your tazer is in the holster in your back, not your hip…. I think he should be fired and should be charged with FIRST degree murder….. And if he isnt charged for what he did I’M here to say that the City of OAKLAND will have more problems then every before… My prayers go to the family of this innocent victim…. I just dont get why they are sitting around waitin for the cop to come in, dont they kno were he lives… They dont care but I can assure you that OPD is goin to have a Hell of a time tryin to calm down the city now if actions arent taken soon…
