Most black woman do care about those kinds of images because we love and understand and support our black men in a way that women of other cultures will never understand. We are also smart enough to know that whoever owns the media forms the opinion of the stories reported thru that media outlet and we are not represented well in that forum. The white man has NEVER been our “God” only our oppressor. Most black women know that we are far from ugly and that staring in Disney with a white man as our partner is NOT superior to staring with a black man. I have no issues with inter-racial relationships and actually have several in my family but I prefer a black man and I have never strayed from that preference. I agree that most American’s devalue the black man because they fear the black man. White America puts all kinds of negative labels on the black man to demoralize and emasculate the black man without even knowing the true black man; similar to its treatment of anybody non-white. As for being brainwashed by whites that is absolutely untrue. Black people have known for many centuries that white America was not made for us but by the sweat of our collective labor. Finally, that light skin dark skin nonsense was created by the white man to separate blacks but fortunately most of us intelligent blacks no longer feed into that nonsense. I know that some non-blacks and some blacks will dispute all that I have said here in support of black men and will run down a whole laundry list of what is wrong with the black man but that is irrelevant to this story and I do not care about bogus black crime statistics either. This is my opinion and I don’t care who don’t like it.
