DMX’s Lawyer Hopes To Prevent Performer’s Arrest
August 14th, 2008Rapper’s hospitalization reportedly caused court absence.
Rapper DMX’s lawyer says the performer had an excuse for missing his latest court hearing. X reportedly checked into a Miami hospital Tuesday, preventing him from returning to Arizona for a scheduled appearance on drug charges. Meanwhile, the Arizona judge in the case issued a warrant for DMX’s arrest after he missed a court date on the charges. Details aren’t clear about the nature of X’s ailment, but the judge who issued the warrant hadn’t been told the rapper was hospitalized. His lawyer hopes DMX can return to Arizona without being taken into custody. Legal problems and arrests have plagued the artist for most of 2008. Attorney Charles Kozelka says X is “serious” about getting help for substance abuse.

Such a tortured soul, I hope he gets his self together. I believe he is the only rapper that reminds me of Tupac. They both have that different personality thing going on, and both are two tortured souls. And they both are extrememly talented and spiritual but have problems with their own demons. I hope DMX is with us for a long time, he is truly a unique talent.

X Man get it togehter. I am such a big fan of your and have been since day one. I can recall meeting you back in 1998 wiht my son and nephews, you were on tour with Redman, Onyx, Keith Murray and few others but you are such a talented person and we all go through things.But take all that negative energy and turn it into something positive. You have a very beautiful family and why put them through it. Come on X get it together. Your words in your rap were very powerful and had meaning. What happen to DMx ( A dog for life)
DMX is a unique talent and not using it for his good. Whatever is troubling him, I hope that he seeks help before he self-destructs.
Seek help before you self-destruct and destroy not only yourself but your family.
