There’s about to be a new chapter in the saga of the Black-college student who accused three White Duke Lacrosse players of rape two years ago. Crystal Mangum, whose claims were discredited in a high-profile, racially volatile charge, announced plans to release a tell-all book about the entire episode. And the truth will come out. Those rich white parents paid her off and everybody knows it. I live in Durham and I heard it from the “horse’s mouth”. They paid her to bequiet so the boys wouldnt be kicked out of school, some of them are in med school and the parents didnt want the reputation to be messed up so they paid her big time.. six figures.

HOWEVER, FOR THE VICTIM TO WRITE A TELL ALL BOOK IN HOPES OF DOING THE TALK SHOW CIRCUIT(I.E. OPRAH & TYRA BANKS SHOWS), & SUBSEQUENTLY MAKING ALOT OF MONEY, DISCREDITS HER.
Who cares she’s a stripper what do you expect a woman bumping and grinding for money have you no shame are class. I hope this books sells less then Bobby Brown tell all book. I bet she is still in the club what next a center fold I don’t think sooooo.
Tina and Kirk C. Odems you’re absolutely right it was the money that changed her story. Money makes people go against their own truths sometimes…it’s sad…but true. Of course there will be some people on here that NEED to believe that she lied about being raped and they will argue based on what they read in the paper, as usual. Of course black folks know that our stories aren’t always accurately portrayed in the media, that’s fact. Money talks and those rich white folks paid for the outcome that they wanted. Those of us who are privy to the TRUTH know better and need not argue with idiots and pompous arrogant know it alls that don’t know jack.

There’s enough blame to spread around. Those boys invited her and that lifestyle into their home and they were obviously NOT choir boys either. They were brats with money. Nobody is totally innocent in this situation. Nobody!
I don’t blame her for writing a book to get paid. Somebody is making a movie to get paid. I will definitely buy the book just to support her!
