Janet Jackson cancels three more shows.
Claiming she’s not fully recovered from her recent illness – but fueling more speculation that ticket sales are slow – Janet Jackson’s rep says the singer’s been sent home on doctor’s orders. Jackson, whose brother Randy recently said she has vertigo, scrapped performances in Greensboro, N.C., Atlanta and Fort Lauderdale, which were scheduled through tonight. Her other cancellations have included Boston, Philadelphia and Montreal, where she was hospitalized after reportedly falling ill before she was to take stage.
Don Cheadle is among winners of British award.
Actor Don Cheadle will receive the British Academy of Film and Television Arts/Los Angeles (BAFTA) humanitarian award for his non-profit. Co-founded with his fellow Ocean’s Eleven stars George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon, Not on Our Watch is devoted to ending human rights atrocities in Africa. Cheadle earned an Oscar nomination for his starring role in Hotel Rwanda, which documents the true story of a hero who intervened for peace during an African nation’s civil war. BAFTA will recognize Cheadle in Hollywood next month.
A bad concert is still a bad concert. Clearly Janet Jackson’s popularity is not so high that large numbers of people are interested in seeing a good,but not great, artist perform. I would count myself in that number.
Janet Jackson is a great spectacular artist very creative and entertaining,her concerts has been postponed not canceled. I attended her concert last month in LA and it was the best I have seen since her last tour, she worked that stage so Larry Lewis I don’t know what artist you are referring to clearly it is not Janet Jackson I am glad you were not there……

Hopefully Janet will get better cuz i am lookin forward to her show in atlanta, and to all them haters keep hating. Janet is a great performer she gives you your money worth. I am a big fan been a fan for 22 yrs so stop hatin!!!

Auntie is sick from all that environment changes. You know, all that dancing is difficult, can you travel to different cities and try to perform in equal status to each city? Only she can do her. She’ll be back for more..pray for her please…she’s older then most of you!!
