November 25th, 2008Keifer Sutherland doubts hit show’s clout. The actor whose popular action and suspense show featured television’s first Black president denies influencing Barack Obama’s election. “24″ star Keifer Sutherland disagrees with his former co-star Dennis Haysbert, who played President David Palmer and said his character helped open “the public’s minds.” “You don’t honestly believe that our show helped get the first African-American into the White House, do you?” Sutherland asks. “All we simply did is look into the future. You have a huge African-American population and it was just a matter of time before they were represented politically by a president.” Sutherland, whose two-hour preview of the new “24″ season was shown this past weekend, points out that a woman president is featured in coming episodes.
Jill Scott is expecting, engaged. R&B singer Jill Scott is sporting a new neck tattoo – one with the name of Atlanta drummer Lil’ John, not to be confused with the gold-mouthed rapper. Scott is reportedly pregnant and engaged to the musician, who’s said to be the dad of three other children by different moms. Baby-momma-to-be Jill was quite public about her romance with her ex, Lyzell Williams, until their marriage and eventual divorce. Maybe neck tats make relationships divorce-proof.
Jill Scott I wish you well with peace and happiness however it does raise an eye brow with being involved with a man with 3 children and none that have the same mothers…… Is he a careless man or not???

some of the same fools that support R Kelly and his sexual deviant self on the other story have the nerve to question Jill Scott’s neck tat and her fiancee’s baby momma’s…what a world…at least Jill’s partner is of LEGAL AGE!!!

I love Jill but be warned when a man hasn’t commited to any of his three “baby mamas” you should be real careful. I’m talking from experience. Why are we so rushed into having babies by men before we get the ring? Take your time ladies. Be selective! Choose wisely before we have these babies! Oh, and have his ass sign a pre-nup!
She might as well. Her music career is not as big as it used to be. Don’t get me wrong now, she has a great voice, but her time has came and gone.

Though I am a bit ticked at her bra line at Ashley Steward [nothing fits! I felt like I was rocking Madonna's cones when she was in her "Vogue" hey day], I am happy for Jill Scott. She has wanted a family for a long time now, so I know that this is simply one step forward for her. I look forward to hearing her new album, and can not wait to see her married to this Lil John fellow:)!
I have never heard of Jill Scott before & who is she any ways. What is her music like? I have only heard of names like Lil John, Ludacris, LL Cool J, Ciara, TI, Chris Brown. Any ways those are the names I’ve heard of.
