Entertainment News: Court Allows Snipes To Leave U.S. For Film; Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, Queen Latifah Play Roles In New Film

Actor Wesley Snipes has been given the green light to leave America while he appeals his conviction of failing to pay income taxes. Prosecutors objected to Snipes maintaining his freedom, but the New Jack City and Blade trilogy star sought a judge’s permission to travel. Federal Judge William Terrell Hodges approved Snipes’ request to travel to London and Bangkok , where he’ll spend eight weeks filming Chasing the Dragon. Snipes avoided conviction on more serious federal tax evasion charges earlier this year.
Three women singers join cast of The Secret Life of Bees
Three of the biggest female recording artists-turned-actresses are a part of the cast of The Secret Life of Bees. Starring Dakota Fanning, the film set in the racist South during the 1960s co-stars Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys and Queen Latifah. The movie follows the life of a White girl who leaves home with her Black caregiver to visit a South Carolina town where her mother’s mysterious death is investigated.
I had to read that book for English class and do a report on it, I CAN NOT WAIT TILL THAT COMES OUT. That was an excellent book and a good story.
Three great women and a talented little girl, this movie is going to be good, cant wait to see it.

Saw the movie “Secret Life of Bees” at a movie screening, and it’s really good. A must see. Full of love, laughter and drama.

Wesley Snipe better find a new lawyer, before he ends up in jail for the same thing other rich people do. Also, hunting a deer is no different than dog fighting, because in the end an animal dies or is either hurt. Mike Vick went to jail for dog fighting.
lynn: As a flaming racist, you don’t know how to write. Being in public office has nothing to do with intelligence. It has to do with a) numbers of your ‘kind’ that will most likely vote you in; b) the drive to go into public office. Many asians forgo the pursuit of a public position for other areas (i.e. medicine, IT, business, etc).
